It's been a rough month, haven't seen much of my husband, and the flying was killing me, all-nighters and early check-ins. Yuk! On the bright side, I met all of my monthly goals. Yay!

Hey. This month has been screwed up with my injury and busy schedule. I will start it next month.

With the exception for missing the first week due to injury, I managed to pick up where I left off and I have been running 3 to 4 times a week.
I did complete the Wharf to Wharf in the time I expected to. It was a fun race, had some hangups. Blogged about it if you want details.

Have another race this saturday with the daughter. Should be fun. Hands are feeling much better now.

Thanks to happycow.com, I found a vegan Ethiopian buffet for lunch and a co-op to stock up on food for the trip home, including an amazing cashew "cheese" wrap. Yum!

Hey everyone! Sorry I'm a little late joining my own thread (rolls eyes)... I was off the food mark ever since that trip to NY, so I let the debauchery run its course and now I'm back. It wasn't too bad, but there were a couple of meals that were questionable at best.

Anyway, goals for July:

bike to work 3x/week
walk the dogs 4x/week
swim 1x/week
run 1x/week
eat in range 5x/week

I'm having a hard time keeping consistent with the running and swimming so I figure I'll start with an achievable goal until it's a habit again and build on that.

I'm going to consider this week my week 1.

As of 7/6 week 1 (7/4-10)
bike: 1/3
dogs: 1/4
swim: 0/1
run: 0/1
in range: 1/5

Ultimate goal - 223 by the end of the month

I'm going with the old running goal, to keep my streak going. I'm at 30 days now, so I might try for a full year streak.

By the way, I've also been doing strength training at least twice a week since April. I haven't included it in my goals, but it seems to be a habit now! I even went out and bought bigger hand weights. You can definitely see the difference in my arms, abs, and shoulders.
