Rolled my ankle last Thursday not paying attention to where I was stepping. And they say the track is the safest place to run. ;-) I did an easy 5K run on the track yesterday while my daughter ran. I was only able to completely lap her once and that was 1.5 miles in my run.

Friday: Walked 1.5 miles while daughter ran for her 5K training. Was still resting for 5K on Saturday
Saturday: AZAZA!!!!(okay it's catching) Did my race and broke my PR in by almost a minute. Time was 26:43. Also found out I am number 1 in the overall points leader in the Brazen runs.
Sunday: Walked (hobbled) 1.5 miles while daughter trained for 5K, protesting that it was slightly raining. I told her if she didn't want to be wet, to run in between rain drops. emoticon Did upperbody and ab work. Had a runner's high that lasted most of the day

Monday (yesterday) Ran an easy 3.5 miles while daughter did her 5K training. No whining, no complaining from her. She came home and claimed she couldn't go to bed because of a runner's high and wife gave me one of those looks. But she said, "I love running".

I have been a bad boy and not reporting so here we go.

For the last couple of weeks I have been training for the 10K. Running 4 times a week which has one tempo run, one set of intervals and two days of straight running. Going well but feel slower the a turtle.
This last weekend (well sun and Mon) I did a 40 minute tempo run (huff puff) and 45 minute interval run (double huff puff wheeze) and took my daughter on the track for her 5K training.

My objectives will be similar to January to ensure that I'm staying on top of my marathon training.

I walk the dogs 50% of the time, so I'll aim for 60% (~17 days) seeing as my daily aim seems to falter all the time!

I managed to lose 7 pounds in Jan. I'm aiming for 3 more in Feb.
