I realized that part of my problem with reaching my f&v goal is that I seem to think 1 cup of veggies is a serving... which isn't always the case. Turns out, the baggie of carrots I eat at work is two servings! talk about short-changing yourself, but only in theory :-)

Alicia -- thanks for the reminders! I have to get back into the habit of eating salad before dinner. Usually I get at least 3 fruit in at work for snacks and then stick the veggies into lunch and dinner. Yesterday was a total wash.

where have the days gone already! i'm in, but i need to think of a couple new goals.

exercise: 25 days of the month (got 3 days under my belt already)

water: at least 6 cups. (again, 3 days done)

fruit: at least 3 different colors. i got new produce on friday, so i'm pretty sure i've done this for the last 3 days (lots of baby spinach, strawberries, melon, carrots, blackberries...yum!)
