This week I have just got back to my morning exercises, I am gradually increasing them daily,

The weather here is so unsettled. We are running 15 to 20 degrees below average. It's in the 30s F tonight so if it's colder than usual, add 10 minutes to your workout routine. If it's warmer, be sure to drink your water to stay hydrated in the heat.

Great challenge Mauri...I have continued to drink my 2L of water every day since we had out water challenge at work, I didn't do the extra walking but I did add lots of veggies to dinner.

Today was our first cool morning again... So I baked bread... Didn't turn out as nice as Andy's. but it warmed the house up... hehehe oops... wrong answer...
How about I danced by the oven as the bread baked? LOL BTW I missed this yesterday so a little late getting it done. Wasn't cold yesterday anyway. lol

I'm going to warm up by doing 20 jumping jacks, and marching in place for 5 minutes before taking my walk this morning!!!!!

In winter even 40F feels cold to me so I began thinking of warming up. Today let's warm up our bodies by adding 10 minutes to our exercise time.

For example, I usually exercise 20 minutes a day. Today I will do 30. Don't forget that stretching when you are done.

My goal is to do at least 30 min. of exercise 5-6 days a week. Today I got in a 60 min. walk and almost have my 8 glasses of water in.

I have some fresh fruit on my agenda for snacks at work today. Taking my thermos to keep my water hot and some lemon juice with me. I will do the stairs at work to keep my body warmed up.

I'm grateful for the lessons I have been learned about being prepared. It has enabled us to be able to help out family that are struggling due to all the jobs losses. So grateful that I have been able to garden then preserve those fruits of labor and know that we have a stocked cupboard.

Feeling grateful that though our power outage this morning meant no heat, the temps are in the 50s, and it only lasted 3 hours.

Since I can't walk outside today, I will do at least 30 mins. of exercise today.

Speaking of heat, it felt good when the furnace came on this morning.
Will work on getting back to getting in those 8 glasses of water.

Today I did my OT exercises for my morning workout.
This evening I'll take my dog for a spin around the neighborhood and do a quick Leslie Sansone workout, just to get more steps in.
Another day of watching what goes in my mouth!

I am working a 12 hour day. I will...
...drink that water instead of anew extra coffee.
...take a couple of healthy snack bars with me.
...at the end of tonight's program, pass on the usual dining out to come home to my village salad, ready to eat.

I'll try and get a 10 or 15 min. walk out in our hallway this evening after supper. We went to the store around 2:30, it was 2 then, when we came home it had dropped to 1 and now it's snowing and windy, we were glad to get back home. I got 45 min. of exercise in this morning.

I will walk (and stretch) for an extra 10 minutes today. That should gain me a good amount of steps!

For example, I usually exercise 40 minutes a day. Today I will do 50. Don't forget that stretching when you are done.
