Good morning everybody, well we are all going to have to be on our toes! We are starting into the holiday season.

Just remember as you start everyday only you can control your food intake and the energy spent. Every morning is a chance to start over and get it right!

I need all of you to support me and remind me that just because I slipped one day I can pick myself up and start over with that next bit of food or move instead of sit.

Here's to a FRESH START in November!!!

HI all, I post on weekends....sorry that I missed some of this discussion

Routine! I hated routine and didn't have an exercise plan...I was all over the place...

I got a plan...wrote it down and stuck to it

It seemed too easy at first....10 minute walking...some arm lifts with a can of soup and then 2 walks on my stairs....that was it for the first week!

Then I added another 10 minutes to each thing and newer exercises!

I started finding ways to add stretches and other exercises

I would be willing to show you my routine (beginning and then what I am doing now)

Let me know and I can seen the info to you

I learned that I had to go slow...because when I didn't I gave up or hurt myself....then I had to have a plan....it's actually funner now

Elaine, the easiest exercise routine for me has been to just put on my tennis shoes and take a step out the front door and keep on going for 5 minutes out at first then 10 minutes out the next week and so on. I'm up to 30 minutes out and 30 back now when I walk alone. When Dubby goes with me, we go at his pace.

emoticon it took me so long to answer this. I read it the other day and I was kind a waiting for someone else to make more comments here, I guess.

I can do ok all day and then snack in the evening. Also need to get into an exercise routine. Any suggestions? Elaine

Sugar, Breads...if I have a little taste of sugar, then I want more, more, more. If I have one dinner roll, then I want another, and another.........
