Took my dad's dog out for a run while I was at my aunt's for supper for my birthday. We did a lot of running around today (had a friend's 1 year old daughter's birthday party this afternoon and my birthday supper)... so I unfortunately didn't get a real "workout" in, but I took the dog for a small run and I was very active playing with my daughter when I could.

Tuesday i walked to the bank to do the deposit (2 kms)

Today I did the same walk, but faster (jogged partway) in the WIND. And I did 30 minute upper body workout on My Fitness Coach.

Cahibomom, I've had the same thing... I haven't been on or posting for the last few weeks. I am pushing myself to start being more active on here and more active in general. I've slacked off my exercising since I was sick at the beginning of April.

I volunteered a while ago to be a co-leader of one of the upcoming Class of ___ here on Spark, and my time has come! I will be leading next week's class of newbies.

I think this will be the challenge and push that I need to get myself moving again.

I haven't been posting any exercise... I haven't been doing any for the past week or so. Been working 12+ hours, and just plain stopped exercising. I'm hoping to pick it back up soon enough, but probably need a push... a challenge.... a workout buddy??

I went to the company gym at lunchtime and did 18 minutes on the treadmill and burned 140 calories. It's all I had time for..

Okay, still not fully caught up or posting regularly ... but here goes (yet again):

Yesterday (Monday):

30 minutes in the gym for ST with my trainer (details in my fitness tracker).
60 minutes on the elliptical
40 minutes on the stationary bike.

Today (Tuesday):

30 minutes "lite" ST at home
I *was* planning 2 hours on the treadmill tonight, but my gym raised their rates so I feel compelled to go there more often - so it will probably be an hour each on the elliptical and stationary bike.

I'll update later :-)

UPDATE: Turned out to be 70 minutes on the bike, 60 on the elliptical. A good day!!

Oops, so much for "regular" posting... TO catch up:

Monday:
- An hour of intense ST at the gym (I now consider my gym ST also as cardio since I keep my heart rate in the target training zone)
- 25 minutes on the elliptical
- 15 minutes on the stationary bike
- 20+ minutes accumulate "assorted walking from place to place" time

Tuesday:
- 30 minutes "lite" ST at home
- 75 minutes on the elliptical
- 45 minutes on the stationary bike

Wednesday:
- 30 minutes gym ST
- 20 minutes on elliptical
- 20 minutes on stationary bike
- 50 minutes on treadmill

Let's see if I can get today's (Thursday's) posted in a more timely manner ;-)

Missed Monday and Tuesday (though I did walk quite a bit on Tuesday because of shopping)... so instead of taking my scheduled Wednesday off, I did 30 minutes of core on my Wii Fitness Coach.

Tomorrow my BFF and I are supposed to go to the gym again FINALLY she has time to come with me.. it seems like lately I need HER to get me the motivation to go myself!

Treadmill - 45 minutes (Tuesday)

I've been out of my groove for the past couple of days, and wanted more than anything to just sit and watch TV and then go to bed. But, I read NEEDPEOPLE's post about EXCUSES... and yep, I had them. Feeling guilty, I went and put 45 minutes on the treadmill. I felt sooooo much better afterwards. (Fell fast asleep as soon as my head hit the pillos.)

Wednesday was my assigned day off... then OOPS things came up and I didn't get my workouts in Thursday, Friday or Saturday.

Today I've done 30 minutes of yoga so far.. hoping to get to the gym later today.

ETA - Didn't get to the gym, but we walked around Costco for a while today. And then I did my fitness test on the Wii My Fitness Coach (I think I did worse than last time) and 15 min upper body workout

I didn't get to the gym today but I did an hour of exercise on my Wii My Fitness Coach

Didn't do a thing Wednesday or Thursday... today I did 30 minute lower body workout on the Wii my Fitness Coach.

I'm very disappointed in myself... I made excuses and didn't make hardly any effort this week for exercise. The only consolation I have is that I worked my BUTT off at work this week and got a lot done. But that's during work hours.. what's my excuse for after work? NOTHING! emoticon

Wasn't feeling well, didn't want to go to the gym or do any kind of workout, but after watching 2 hours of Biggest Loser recorded from last week I felt I needed to do something.. so I did 30 minutes of yoga on my Wii My Fitness Coach and now I feel relaxed and also happy that I got some kind of exercise in.~

Today (3/16) was an hour at the gym for serious ST, 20 minutes on the stationary bike, 75 minutes on the elliptical, and 25 minutes on the treadmill.

Now, I just need to catch up on about 40 hours of sleep :-)

My calf muscles ACHE today from the Wii yesterday.. I'm sure part of it was my workout, and part of it was all the bowling I did on it LOL

Today I did my 30 minute workout on Wii My Fitness Coach. 10 minutes cardio/aerobic warm-up, and 20 minutes of upper body strength training. I LOVE it, I did some exercises I always do, and some I've never done before. my whole workout it says I burned 127 calories, but I'm only counting the 10 minutes of cardio at the beginning.

So far, walking around stores... and 15 minutes cardio workout on Wii My Personal Trainer (LOL it was funny because Keira was climbing on me while I was trying to bridges) and 30 minutes yoga on Wii.

An hour of strength training at the gym, and 2 hours walking on the boardwalk with my wife. Finally, warm enough weather to be outdoors!

Because of the way my abs were feeling on Tuesday during my workout, I decided that I would take yesterday off... I relaxed, went Walmart shopping (so a little exercise i guess... walking around Walmart).. and cuddled on the couch with the hubby.

But tonight it's back to business! I'm only allowing myself 1 day off per week, anything more and it becomes a slippery slope (as shown by last week... and I feel every last ounce I gained too)

ETA - tonight the winds are up to 59 km/hr... I didn't want to go out in that to the gym, so I did my workout at home again. Did the New You Bootcamp Day 1 kickboxing cardio workout, 3 times in a row for 30 minutes worth. Plus I did both Day 5 videos (old Swimsuit bootcamp and the New You bootcamp) to get my lower body workout in.

Another 2 hours on the treadmill and 30+ minutes of "lite" core and legs work at home. I've definitely fallen into a routine and looking forward to the warmer weather when I can finally get my road bike repaired/tuned-up and hit the roads again. But I do like my routine now ... and my body feels kinda weird on days when I don't get the exercise in.

I guess that's a good thing. Or a sign I'm insane :-)

I'm really pushing myself this week... lately I've had goals of 150 cardio minutes and 1300 calories burned... it's only Tuesday and I already have 125 minutes, and reached my 1300 calories today!

Today I did 3 Spark cardio videos (10 min Jump Start, New You Bootcamp Day 1, and old Swimsuit Bootcamp Day 1), as well as working my upper body by doing the Swimsuit Bootcamp Day 3 workout, and my abs by doing the 5 min Beginner Abs w/ Ball workout.

(as you can tell, I decided to do my entire workout at home instead of hitting the gym today... I need to switch it up a bit to keep my body guessing)

I worked my abs 4 days in a row now... going to have to rest them tomorrow because I could barely get thru the 5 min Abs workout without feeling sore.

ETA - this evening I went again to try some different machines. BLAH! 10 min rowing and 10 min on the stair machine. Both sucked... I'll stick with my elliptical
