Starting Weight 12/26/17 ***** 241 lbs. Loss of 36 lbs. since Dec. emoticon
1/2/18 -234.5 lbs.
1/9/18 -234 lbs.
1/16/18 -234 lbs.
1/23/18 -228 lbs.
1/30/18 -226 lbs.
2/6/18 -221 lbs.
2/13/18 -220 lbs.
2/20/18 -221 lbs. trying emoticon started using the food tracker -see if that will help.
2/27/18 - 214.5 lbs. so happy scale is starting to go down again.
3/6/18 -211.5 lbs. so happy to see a loss. I have 2.5 more lbs. to move into 200ville.(209 lbs.)
3/13/18 -208 lbs. So happy. I moved into 200ville. Now the countdown to Onederland can begin!!
3/20/18 -205 lbs.
3/27/18 -205 lbs. slipping a little. Can't use Easter as an excuse to eat junk food!
4/3/18- 205 lbs. Would have lost a little more but Easter did me in! emoticon
Total loss of 36 lbs. I am so happy with that loss! emoticon

Well, my weight may not be moving much but I'm glad I took my measurements 4 weeks ago. I may not be losing pounds but I am losing inches - 7 to be exact! At least an inch off all measurements! Great NSV!

Back down 1, so I'm where I was 2 weeks ago. This has been a really slow go of it; I thought I could keep going at a pound a week but it's averaging out to a loss of .66 a week. But you know what, I'm happy with a half pound a week, too, because that means I'm still going down, right? Right! emoticon

Well, it's back down to where it was 2 weeks ago but I think I'm retaining water - My rings are tight. I had corned beef and cabbage on Saturday and some of the leftover veggies on Sunday. They are definitely high in sodium.

As long as I stay eating properly and exercising the weight will start to drop off. I took my measurements 3 weeks ago for the first time in a LONG time. I will take them again next week which will give me an idea if I'm getting smaller.

Starting Weight 12/26/17 ***** 241 lbs.
1/2/18 -234.5 lbs.
1/9/18 -234 lbs.
1/16/18 -234 lbs.
1/23/18 -228 lbs.
1/30/18 -226 lbs.
2/6/18 -221 lbs.
2/13/18 -220 lbs.
2/20/18 -221 lbs. trying emoticon started using the food tracker -see if that will help.
2/27/18 - 214.5 lbs. so happy scale is starting to go down again.
3/6/18 -211.5 lbs. so happy to see a loss. I have 2.5 more lbs. to move into 200ville.(209 lbs.)
3/13/18 -208 lbs. So happy. I moved into 200ville. Now the countdown to Onederland can begin!!
3/20/18 -205 lbs.
3/27/18 -205 lbs. slipping a little. Can't use Easter as an excuse to eat junk food!
4/3/18- 205 lbs. Would have lost a little more but Easter did me in! emoticon
Total loss of 36 lbs. I am so happy with that loss! emoticon

About a month ago, my doctor changed my diabetic meds, he started me on Metformin - which I ended up not being able to take, then he changed me to Actos, side effect of that is fluid retention and weight gain. I gained about 10 pounds in 7 days. He has taken me off that. I am struggling to lose those pounds I gained from the meds.

I received a Fitbit for my birthday, so I'm trying to get back into exercising. I'm trying to eat healthier as I'm a type 2 diabetic.

I will take all your suggestions and weigh and measure things and do low carb also.

Don’t give up Lindalou! Is there anything you can change about what you’re doing lately that might make a difference? Go hard for a week with calories on the low end of your range? Do one or two low carb days and see if that makes a difference? Weigh and measure absolutely everything for a week if you’re not already doing that?

DMDangelo is right too, sometimes things just don’t show on the scale although your body IS changing. DmDangelo – been there, done that with an “overnight” weight gain. I usually yell at the scale. Then drink a lot more water to try to get things moving along… oy.

According to the scale I've gained 5 lbs.! I know I ate poorly over the weekend but NOT that poorly!

01/29/18 - 185.0 May have had too much sodium over the weekend but I will continue to work at it! The weight will come off!

LINDALOU142 - Don't give up. The scale isn't the only way to measure your changes. Are you less winded when you go up stairs? Is your mood improved? These are Non Scale Victories! My weight went up 5 lbs this week. I know it's not real but it's frustrating!
