Thanks for sharing Sherry! It is good to have alternatives!

A number of folks have emailed me and I've seen comments here on the page about not finding their posts with their weight. This is a pretty casual challenge and we do not go back and edit our original post. We also do not have a separate link to post and edit our weight - I'm open to doing that next time if people are interested - let me know!

So just put a new posting every week. Some people even put it in their signature. We are a pretty flexible and laid back group and happy to have you all here!

Terri, my fault on the link. Thought I'd copied the new one, but guess I hadn't. Here's the one for applesauce instead of eggs but you pick the specific kind of recipe www.livestrong.com/search/?search=ap

Sorry, a couple of days delayed checking in! It's been busy. 8 mile run on Saturday morning and then my parents 60th wedding anniversary party - it was a lot of fun! Sunday to the gym and then a lot of digging up in the yard. 3.1 mile run yesterday. Eating too many carbs lately and need to get back on track! Working on getting my runs in this week and went to the gym this morning. 10 mile run on Saturday and the half marathon is a little over 4 weeks away!

OurNance - great job!
Elise - Welcome! You can do it!
Donna - you are on track!
Della - on to a new week! But great job on increasing your steps!
Jericho - welcome!
Terri - here's hoping those 3 knee injections do the trick!
Chris - hope you are feeling better! My hubby has a cold too and I'm trying not to catch it!
Sherri - way to go on 4 lbs! Hope the hubby is OK!
Nancy - safe travels!
Kathleen - glad the scale is happy! Good luck with the 10,000 steps!
Jo - well done!

JoMama - way to go! No, we just put a new post every week. Too hard to go back and find the old one.

MedSmiley - fantastic first week!
PotterySis - on to a new week! You can do it.
Joan - I do not know how many are doing it, but I think we are strong in numbers!
Marcia - great job!
Komtria - great progress!
KimmerKins - welcome and good job!
GramPam - this is a new week! You can do it!
Dawn - fantastic progress!
WwwDotJohn - well you certainly had a loss, I agree it is tough on the road!
Terri - good for you! Take it a week at a time!
IamSunnyHoward - yes, these good choices add up and show our progress in numbers!
JaneAtt - good perspective and onto a new week!
Jane - it is all about making adjustments. Hope the ear is better soon!
MattD - you can do it! Keep it up!
Joann - you will get back on track! Good thing those things aren't every week!
Jeanne - you keep showing us how maintenance is done! Way to go!
GolfinMomma - sorry you are stressed! Hope things get resolved on the living situation.
Beth - good job!
Annacan - yes she can! Good job.
Janice - yes, it can always be worse! It's a new week, we can do this.
MeltingSnow - if you are doing strength training it could be muscle.

Komtria - ideas for traveling. Plane, car? Do you have the opportunity to pack healthy snacks and take them with? Where will you be staying? I always pack almonds and protein bars so I don't have an excuse to buy chips. If I'm out to eat, I always try and get a protein and a veggie and skip the bread basket. I'm sure others have ideas too. Don't forget your water intake!

RRGranny - good job and enjoy your vacation
SPMomski - great job.
2BNot2B - you can do this, let's have a great week!
Legs - welcome!
Martha - good job!
GetFitAbby - good job!
ScubaGal - good progress!
Pam - good week for you! Yes, lots of new people!
MaryM - it could have been worse - now to get it off and then some!
Roz - good job!
SculleyJerri - good progress!

Kirby - it would kill me to be away from a scale, but focus on your food and activity and you'll be OK!

Sherry - so much sitting and waiting! Good luck getting more walking in. Last week was a bad week for me getting activity in too! Drives me crazy if I forget it or if it's not charged!

Mary - way to go!
JanBros - glad you found the challenge at a good time for you!
Mickey - good job!
Frausko - good job!
Lin - hope you got a handle on things and get back on track!
Sandi - excited to see you back and to hear the news of no gain! Awesome!
RachaelAnne - hello!
FabGramma - good job!
Dorian - good job! I joined the plateau challenge too.
GrapleOne - good job!

OfficialOldy - good job. Just repost every week. To hard to find the old one, this is a very active group.

McGrandMab, Bodon, AnnMH - up a little or staying the same? This is just one week of the challenge. You can do it!

Sorry, I was catching up on a lot of people. I apologize if I missed everyone! Let's have a great rest of the week! Happy Tuesday everyone!

Sherry, thanks. Both links were for replacing the oil with applesauce.

Can you replace the eggs with applesauce?

I wouldn't do both in the same recipe but it seems that unsweetened applesauce would be better on calories and cholesterol than either the oil or the eggs.

Not sure if you'd want to do both in the same recipe, though.

I need some advice .. baking advice.

I was told that unsweetened applesauce could be substituted for things when you are baking.

Eggs or oil or both? Does anyone know?

I thought I posted on this challenge, but I couldn't find me, so I guess I didn't. But I've been thinking about it and it's helping. I really love the gentle support with out the hype. It's been working and I believe it will for the long term - just what I needed! Thanks team.

Jericho--if you go to your home page and edit your page(upper right) down that column near where your picture is you can add all of the dates etc... and it will come up every time you post below the line like you see in mine below! don't forget to go back up and save your changes. Then you won't have to look for your old post--all the updates will stay there until you change them with your next weigh in! I hope that helps!

emoticon is happy this morning! Another chilly morning 64 degrees and I will be off with Copper emoticon and then finish power washing the driveway this morning!

How's everyone doing? New week=fresh start!
There are SO many new members in this challenge which is AWESOME!! It's hard to congratulate everyone, so GREAT JOB on losing that weight! emoticon

If you didn't lose a pound last week, forget about it and move on! Refocus your disappointment in a positive step. Make one change in this week. Just one. Take those few extra steps and park your car a little further away from your destination and keep doing that. Take the stairs instead of the elevator and keep doing that. These little changes add up!

Let's keep the support going. Let's share our ideas and new ways of thinking to get the JOB DONE!

WE CAN DO THIS!!

Boy, do I hope I can get more walking in this week! Yesterday was church (that went longer than usual), brunch (where we waited for an hour--20 minutes longer than they said), baby shower, and then to the show 42nd Street. So much sitting! Argh. Today is chilly and cloudy, but I do need to walk to a meeting about two blocks from my office (for more sitting) so there is that definite walk time in my future!

I just went back and looked at the post and saw that many lost their 1 pound!!! Keep up the good work! There were some that lost ounces as I did and that is great also. Here's to a new week---keep moving and tracking your eating and we will all see a loss be it a pound or an ounce. Every ounce counts!

Good Morning Monday!!
emoticon I am going to try to get 10,000 steps this week! I would like to repeat last weeks progress if I can! Sometimes the first week of changing things around does not continue to the rest of the weeks! Sunday is now my carb load day and Monday is a fast day! I had good results last week--thinking positive!
only 63 degrees this morning in Florida--going to be a great ride on the trail with Copper emoticon ! She didn't get a ride yesterday because of the annual bike ride to support the trail was in progress by 7 am!

Everyone have a great week! emoticon Kathleen

I gave up trying to find my previous post several challenges ago. I keep my info in a word file on my computer, update and post weekly.

I like that, in addition to posting progress weekly, we can find mutual support and encouragement here!
