Just stepped inside from a 20 min. walk through the neighborhood. You can actually smell the snow in the air.

Started up a pot of tea, the gas fireplace (a bit tired to lug in da' log). Next heat up some veggie chile. "I deserve a break today...so stay in and network play....at my house."

The "13 in 13" challenge is starting to show some success.

Even though my normal weigh-in is Tuesday, yesterday after my "Y" swim, I stepped up on the scale. Lost 4 lbs. That's better than last weeks 1/2 lb.

As of today... January 20th, I have lost 8 kg or about 17.6 pounds.

Doing HCG and have two more days of homeopathic drops and then go into the stabilizing phase. I am still far from my goal, but have made good headway. How do you put a weight ticker onto your posts?

This challenge got me right back on track in January. I'm not sure I would have gotten to it as quickly as I did without this challenge. Thanks everyone!

I actually am down a pound this morning. My Wii Fit has been complaining about low batteries so I changed them this morning. I also weighed in my nightgown. I have not felt like I was losing this week, but have been chugging the water and playing on the Wii. My eating is not so good, but not completely out of control either.

A high note was a friend at church noticing that I've lost some weight! Nothing like validation from other people! The clothes I wore to church were pretty loose it's true since I am still putting on my "fat" clothes at least until March or April (after the challenge is over).

Drinking water
eating breakfast everyday
fruit or veggie with every meal
exercise min 10 min daily
So far so good. The scale is going in the right direction. Have lost 5.5 lbs since Jan.1. Already easier to tie my shoes.

I lost just under a pound - BUT had a great fitness assessment where all but one of the measures was improved and that one stayed the same (I was already at the top on the arm curls and THAT was the one that stayed the same). I am OKAY with this - the weigh in was this evening and I was fully clothed at the fitness center so PROBABLY my REAL weight is a bit lower than that.

---- I am so frustrated with myself. Well, just a little. I had a bag of chips yesterday and a gyros dinner the day before. I knew I would be dealing with the salt intake. So today the scale told the truth. I gained 2 pounds. Time to double up on the water to get rid of all that salt and hopefully it will show on the scale next week. I hope everyone else had a great weigh-in.

Was worried about last week because I had several days when the evening snack did me in but thankfully when I got on the scale this morning at TOPS I had lost .4lb. I guess the extra walking and working extra hard at Curves really did make a diffference. emoticon

i am not going to get old until i am 110 and then i'm going to think about it!!!!

According to my haunted scale (should be replacing this week) my weight went up 4/10 #. Looking back on the week I'm not surprised I gained & am happy it was not more.

Down 2.6 pounds this week (total 4.8 pounds lost). So happy! Did a couple of strength training exercise classes last week. This week will try to add in a bit of walking, in addition to the classes. Tracking my food, and trying to drink lots of water but need to do better with getting in 8 glasses every day.

I'm down another 2.5 and am happy with that for the second week in a row! I've been concentrating on walking for 30 minutes each day, not snacking and tracking my food each day. Doing pretty well on my water consumption too. Guess what? It's working!! Whodathot?

Two more pounds gone! I'm trying to walk each day this week. It is pretty here in Georgia (like Spring) so should be easier than the usual 'winter' weather.

PS: The reason for the difference between what it shows on my 'ticker' and the 13-Week Challenge is that the Challenge weigh-in is on Mondays and my scheduled weekly weigh-in is on Wednesday. Didn't want anyone to think I was 'fudging' the numbers - ha.

January 14, 3rd weigh in down 1 lb. Start weight 210, this week 208, down 1 more lb.

Thanks for your challenge, it is helping.

I am a born again Christian and I love the Lord with all my heart. He has changed my life so I now live with more peace and contentment. I am pretty happy! I walked the treadmill every day, walked the 5 flights of stairs at the office building every day, and ate 3 healthy meals a day. The only thing that I am struggling with right now is not getting enough water in. I know all the tricks to get it down and I like water. I'm just not doing it. I'll try harder this week.

I was down 2 !!

Keep Going everyone........ We can all do this!!

Post your weight progress here. I hope I am still under 230 come Tuesday which is my weigh-in date. Even if your result is not super-great, don't give up! It's a marathon not a sprint! Think about what might be causing your progress to slow. Very likely it is all in your hands. I know in my case, it really is. I've been indulging a lot this week in salty snacks and sweets. I HAVE been doing my fitness, but need to add more intensity as I am not as challenged as I have been previously. Hmmm...did someone say Leslie Sansone?
