Even though I'm almost 20 pounds over my goal weight, I am celebrating my 4-year anniversary day today, because I am still a long ways from my high weight of 328 lbs.! I am on my way to taking off the regain, and feeling good about where I'm at in my life today. I have a healthy outlook on life, always try to eat the "light" choice, move more every chance I get, and am enjoying each and every day I have in this normal-sized body. I've got a lot of lumps and bumps, excess skin, that all comes with being morbidly obese for over 30 years, and also is part of growing older (I'm 64). I will never wear a bikini again (really, I never did!), nor even short-shorts, but I can shop for clothes in stores in the regular-sized sections after so many years of having to order my 5X and 6X's from the large-sized catalogs. I am no longer that embarrassed, humiliated individual who felt less than worthy of taking up (too much) space on the planet and have new-found self-confidence in myself. It's never too late to change your life for the better! I did it as I approached my 60th birthday, and today I'm happier than I was for those 30 years I spent in my 328-lb. body!

One Step at a Time....But Always Forward!
