I haven't done too well this week. I went back to work and we had a program at church every night as well as orientations for my kids. Therefore my eating was off and I only exercised on Monday and Tuesday. I got back on track yesterday and today. I won't give up.

Friday- Pool out of commission so rowed x 10 minutes and walked for 23. Did great on calories. Will do strength training tomorrow

80 minutes cardio( leslie sansones walkslim 4 fast miles and 2 brisk miles dvds)
35 minutes ST (45 dumbell bicep curls,45 dumbell lateral lifts,45 dumbell tricep kickbacks, 30 back extentions,50 crunches, 50 reverse crunches, and 50 crunches w/twist.

Thursday-Did OK on calories even with having people to dinner including dessert, but other than some weed pulling and sweeping did not exercise today.

i always stay on the low end of my calories. On Tuesdays amd Thursdays I do combo class which is 30 minutes of spinning and one hour of body strength. I am down to low weights starting at the beginning due to neck surgery in december.I was unable to work out from Sept. to may due to my surgery. I also take my dog for a 30 minute bike run about 3 times a week. It use to be 1 and a half hours. Rita and I also walk on the treadmill about twice a week. I put her on the treadmill more often because she loves to run which is very hard for me at the time. on Saturday's I go to the gym and do and hour of weights and machines my trainer has put me on.I am basically trying to get my upper strenth back. I've been in the gym for 35 years but have had to start over. I am working hard and will get back before the new year.

Im in again as well. Will be upping the weight with less reps and interacting with supersets on Mon, Wed and Friday. Boxing as cardio on Tues Thur and Saturday adding a 3 mile walk after workouts.

Monday- OK on calories, only walked 36 min, did do strength training for first time in week and half,
Tuesday- Swam 47 minutes and walked 6, OK on calories too. No strength training today.

Been away...Got to get on board and stick with it-Life gets hectic-didn't finish registering last week, but at least I was eating/exercising/doing the right thing. Consistency is what we're learning here and this week will be important because I've so far been doing just cardio-need to start adding strength. Go team!! One mind-great strength-pulling together!

Hopefully I can do better this week! Still battling a little bit of the cold.

Monday--7 min on level 7 on the bike keeping it over 80 RPMs
Tuesday--40 min on the treadmill, 3.0 mph, 3.0 incline
Wednesday--1 hr of upper body weight training, including 8 min on level 7 on the bike keeping it over 80 RPMs and 13 min on the eliptical at the end of the hour. Walked to and from work, 15 min each way

I'm in again. I strength train on Tue & Thu at the moment but will use this to change it up a bit.

Mon: 30 min elliptical, within all ranges, no strength
Tues: 25 min elliptical, too far below all ranges, strength training (upper body and core)
Wed: 30 min elliptical, within all ranges, strength (core)
Thu: 30 min elliptical, below range, no strength
Fri: no cardio, below range, no strength
Sat: 20 miin elliptical, 15 min power walk, way over ranges (why can't I keep my hand out of the pizza box?, no strength again!!
Sun 30 min walk, within range, no strength

How timely! I just resumed my strength training yesterday (Sunday), after having stopped for a couple of months.

Mon: no cardio; no strength; stayed within calorie range
Tues: 30 min elliptical; no strength - still too sore from Sunday's work out; stayed within calorie range
Wed: 30 min elliptical; 25 min upper strength; stayed within all ranges
Thurs: 10 min stairmaster; 30 min stationery bike; 25 min lower strength; stayed within calorie range
Fri: no cardio; no strength; went out to dinner - think went over calories by about 300 - not too bad considering it was a buffet! (I made good choices)
Sat: 30 min arc trainer; 25 min upper & core strength; stayed within all ranges
Sun: 30 min arc trainer; 15 min lower strength; stayed within all ranges

I'm in again. I strength train on Tue/Thu, maybe I'll add Sat as well.
Mon: 30 min elliptical-425 cals burned/about 100 cals over
Tues: 10 min TM-30 min strength/in range-yeah!
Wed: no exercise emoticon /but EASILY in range
Thu:10 min elliptical-30 min kick butt strength/calorie disaster!
Fri: 135 min 6 mile walk/calories in range
Sat: 60 min 3 mile walk/didn't track the cals but sure I went over
Sun: 60 minutes push lawn mowing/

Wow! Everyone's doing so well with the cardio & calories that I think we should keep doing that challenge and add STRENGTH this week!

SP has a lot of strength exercises available on the site. Check out this link to see the exercise demos:

So, this week we will continue to track our calorie intake, our calories burned, and also incorporate strength training exercises. Be sure not to overtrain because we don't want to injure ourselves. If you work your upper body one day, try working your abs or lower body the next.
