Yes, I ordered it on line....Almond breeze almond milk is (I think) much tastier than reg. milk & much healthier for you & your bones...POM wonderful, is pomegranite juice (pure) that you buy at the grocery store....those two are the base of most of my smoothies...

This will be a whole new experience for me - I have never had almond milk or cherry butter and don't know what POM is. LOL
Is cherry butter like apple butter?

1/2 cup almond milk. 1/2 cup POM, 3 cups spinach or kale, 2 cups frozen cherries, 2 tbsp. cherry butter, 1 frozen banana, dates to taste...yummy! PS: forgot to add 2 tbsp. of unsweet cocoa!

Hi there! I just happened on this team and it is right up my ally. I have been making freggie smoothies every morning for about a month now. I don't have a juicer, but use a blender. Today was blueberries, strawberries, banana, and a cup of frozen California mix veggies. I frequently add spinach but had not thought to try kale or celery. Hmmm ... Not sure celery would work in a blender. Lots of great ideas here! Eve, how do you make your chocolate covered cherry smoothie?

Had a really good one today. I am starting again and want to get into the daily habit. Going to take one week at the time!

Apple
Greek yogurt!

It was delish! But I am sure the greek yogurt made it calorific!

I've been doing a daily green smoothie for the whole month of May. Even when we went to the beach for a few days i found a juice bar to have my green smoothie!

Today's was a mix of pineapple, clementines and kale. Lovely! emoticon

I am getting one in most days. Not every day and I need to improve on that. The one I had yesterday was really nice. I use organic, probiotic yogurt in mine.

I'm working on 43/45! Every morning I look forward to my green loveliness!
This morning, not so green! I succumbed to a GALLON of beautiful strawberries yesterday. Whatever was it that made me think I needed a gallon? emoticon So my smoothie was more mud colored this morning!

This morning's was Super Greens, 1/4 avocado, 1/2 banana, strawberries, celery, flax seed, and a little coconut water. I'm finding that I really like the hint of celery in my smoothie.

I fell off the green wagon emoticon and I physically feel yucky and everything is irritating me. I did purchase a big shopping cart of all things good yesterday but ran out of time this morning to make a smoothie or a juice. I'll have one for dinner.

Oh why, Oh why did I let the freggies run out at my house?!?

I'm still just drinking spinach and strawberries. I need FRUIT! DD has me running all over the place with various end of school productions that I've neglected food shopping. lucky for me I always have extra bags of grapefruit and oranges!

I fell off the wagon for a day or two! Need to get back on again. I need to figure out how to keep to my exercise and eating routine when I am out of my other routines! the kids are off school this week which is throwing me off but at the end of June they will be off for two months so I just need to find a way to work this!!!

Had two again today. I was a bit late making them though and hadn't eaten well earlier! Will do better tomorrow!!

I just had my 2nd for the day too! emoticon I'm doing my 2nd one as a juice and the 1st as a smoothie. The juice I just had was spinach, granny smith, celery, carrot, ginger root. Not bad, pretty good really, BUT u*g*l*y color! My smoothies have been such a pretty spring green, this one is kind of olive green.

Day 2 done. I actually had two smoothies again today. Added some raspberries in an effort to make it taste better. Now that i am writing I think I forgot the kiwi! I have been putting in an unpeeled apple. I think I will peel it until I get more used to it. I hate the little bits of peel!!

Good morning green people! emoticon

I made it thru April only missing one morning of green smoothie! I usually have the same one every day.
2 Cups Spinach or baby kale
1/4-1/2 granny smith apple
1/2 pear
1/4-1/2 avocado
10-12 grapes( not every time)
2 TBS flax seed!
1.5-2 C water or coconut water

so good! I was leery about the avocado at first but it makes it nice and creamy!

I'm thinking about adding a 2nd drink at snack time but make it just juice with mostly veggies and a granny smith.

I have already been having a green/fuit smoothie daily & will continue. My current favorite which is sinfully delicious is as follows?
1/2 cup Almond milk
1/2 cup POM

Walla ~ You can have any Green Smoothie of your choice. I'm kind of stuck in my ways and usually have the same fruity one day after day, with the exception of switching up my greens. I also only add water, greens, and fruit. But I know a lot of people use other bases and supplements. We can post our daily ingrediants and that way we can inspire, old dogs (like me) into trying new concoctions.

1. For the best ratio, follow the 60/40 formula. For example: 3 cups fruit, 2 cups dark leafy greens, 1-2 cups of water. Makes 32-40 oz or 4-5 cups.

2. If bitter or too “green tasting,” add an extra dose of nature’s sweetener. Sometimes, smoothies can taste a little bitter or overpowering from the leafy greens. To fix this, just add a natural sweetener such as bananas, mango, apples, pears or pitted dates.

3. For optimal nutrient content, drink your smoothie right away. Fresh is always best, but sometimes you will have leftovers. Store in airtight containers, like a mason jar with lid, to limit oxidation (which breaks down nutrients and changes the color.) You can keep green smoothies in the fridge for 24 – 48 hours.

4. Change up your liquid base from time to time. Water is a great base for green smoothies, but it’s nice to change it up and incorporate more nutrients and vitamins occasionally. Coconut water is low in fat and calories, yet high in potassium, vitamins, minerals and electrolytes. For a more creamy texture, add unsweetened nut milks to your smoothies like almond milk or coconut milk, which are packed with bone-building calcium and vitamin E.

5. Want your green smoothie to be extra chilly? Freeze your favorite fruits like ripe bananas, grapes, pineapple or berries. This is also a great way to not waste ripe fruits and veggies.
