I hope you found something for your girls on the Forever Green pages. I'm not too surprised that you hadn't heard about it; word seems to be getting out very slowly. It's nice to be able to share resources this way!

Hey everybody!

Sometime during the summer GSUSA introduced Girl Scouts Forever Green, the 100th Anniversary Take Action Project.

There are three separate projects in which girls can participate, with varying degrees of difficulty. National has also provided info on how to link the Take Action projects to other Program such as the Journeys, etc. There's an online pledge the girls can sign and after participating in a Take Action project, the girls (or an adult) can post to GSUSA what they've done so they can be counted in the overall impact.

I'd love to know if you've heard anything about Forever Green from your Council -- I'm going to post the question up in the discussion section.

Enjoy! Here's the link: www.girlscouts.org/gsforevergreen/
