I haven't been on in a while, hope everyone is doing good. This year has been off to a rough start. My mom has stage 3 bladder cancer and is going through chemo right now. I'm not doing good with the eating but am working out 5 days a week. I completed my first 10K Saturday. My time was 1hr 9min

Hey everyone! It's been awhile since I last checked in. Sorry!

How's everyone doing?

I started C25K on Monday. I've done two days so far and love it! Tomorrow I go on to the last day of Week One. I'm excited to start Week Two!

I think I've finally got the eating thing down, too. At least my calories. I'm sticking around 1500 a day and have been feeling great! I'm starting the eating plan from the new Biggest Loser book on Monday. Looking forward to that also.

Alright, I just saw my sparkmail about the team, sorry I haven't been active in our group until now.

My name is Kate and I'm a 29 year old working mom with two children - 4 and 6 months. I not only work outside of the house but I have an hour commute each way so my days are quite hectic. I have been working out regularly but struggle with food. I have been losing slowly but steadily and have another 10-15 pounds to go until I'll be completely satisfied. I would like continue my workouts but start focusing on eating better to speed up my weight loss.

I hope everyone is having a great week! I took one day off, tuesday, due to crazy allergies! I started my claratin and have been doing better. Tomorrow is my last day of level 2 on the 30 day shred! I'm excited to have 11 more days to go!

Ok, posting here for accountability - my Mom's group is having a Mom's night out tonight at a local pizza place. I'm going because I haven't been to one in months and I need the conversation. I've looked at the menu online and I'm going to order the ceasar salad with grilled shrimp added. I don't think they do pizza by the slice or i might have considered it, but I don't think I want to order a whole or half pizza and then try to not eat it.

Hi Everyone,
I'm Karishma and i'm just checking in with this group since we just got back from a week-long cruise to the Bahamas :) I didn't gain any weight on the trip, so I'm super happy about that, and as soon as we go grocery shopping and have some food in the house, I'll be right back on track with the plan.
this is going to be a crazy week because I signed up for extra shifts at work, so I'm working tonight and then wednesday night. but after that I'm free! No more weeknight working for me for a while :) I'm hoping to get my exercise plan up and running too, but will probably wait till next week to start that in earnest - just focusing on moving more this week.

Hey everyone. Hope all are doing well. I went to a bbq yesterday and blew it. Feeling so bad about it. I was fine and happy NOT eating 95% of the time. Then as it was close to leaving I just wanted to eat stuff because I hadnt tasted it all in YEARS. No excuse. Today is a start of a new week.....

Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend! We were able to get outside and enjoy the nice weather! I love watching the baby play. It was a really cool park with lots for him to do. He loved it! Big Bros were playing with him! Going strong with the shred. Half way through level 2! And today I finished week one of c25k!! I hope I can handle week 2! It's 30 sec longer of running. I hope everyone is doing good!!

Hey everyone! Just wanted to check in and see how everyone's week end's going.

I'm doing great! I'm on Day 13 of my "plan" and still going strong. Hoping for nice weather next week. The kids and I have a play date at the park with our bestest friends (who are leaving us, again, later in the week) and I really want to get the kids out and running around and to "play" soccer with them!

Hi...I forgot to check my spark mail so I'm late to introduce myself. I'm new to spark. My sister has been on here for years and I'm looking for new ways to stay motivated. I am a mom of two: 8 yr. old Alexis and a 6 month old Abigail. With an 8 year gap I feel like it's all new to me. I was my heaviest before I got pregnant and I'm right back to the same size and not happy about it. Using this website has made me realize how it happened...I eat way to much and don't move at all! I want to be skinny again of course but honestly my goal is to be fit and conscious of what I put into my body just as I am for the baby. I want my body to be pure like hers. I like the 30 minutes a day 4x a week goal! Maybe we can start a new message board for that goal. Haven't looked around much so we'll have to figure it out.

Alicia, I have the 30 Day Shred as well! I was doing it regularly, but then I had back issues and have not done any exercise in over a week :( I still lost a couple pounds though (probably bc I am nursing less since my son is 11 months old and eating 3 meals a day, so my body is holding on to less fat!!). I will take that challenge with you! At least 30 minutes a day 4x a week! That will be a challenge for me bc I get caught up in other things and do not work out! I will try to do the Shred more as well! We should check in on each other every day to make sure we are sticking to it! sound like a plan?

Hello EVERYONE!! Now I have some time so let me introduce myself :)

My name is Jodymarie. I am a SAHM of 2 wonderful boys. Izick who will be 3 the 17 of THIS month AND Gavin who will 1 the 26 of THIS month. :-D I have been on my journey since 9-10-07 losing 89 lbs and counting. I surpassed my original goal which was lose 75 lbs and get to 150 lbs. Once I made it there I decided to make one last final never been there goal, which is 120 lbs. I am on my way....I look forward to getting to know everyone!

my first team too, so I'm not sure. Right now, I am doing 30 day shred and the couch 2 5k program. So those are my goals. What is everyone else doing? Maybe we can set a goal for exercise minutes? Like we all workout for at least 30 min, 4x a week??

Hi Everyone! My name is Amy. I am 24 and have one son, who will be 1 years old this week! I am a stay at home Mom as well.
I have had weight issues my entire life and am working to make life long changes so my weight will not be an issue anymore.
I am currently just watching what I eat and working out 5-6 days a week at the gym. I do weights 3 times a week and cardio 5-6 days a week.
Well I am excited to get to know you all. This is my first time on a team like this!

Hello everyone!!
I'm Brandi, 23 years old and Mommy to three kids. Kaydence is 3 and my only girl, Ethan is 2 and Raiden is 3 weeks old.

I've struggled all my life with my weight and after my second was born, joined SparkPeople for a little while, but lacked the knowledge and motivation to stick with it. But, I'm back, with knowledge, resources and the motivation I need to get this done! I'm sick of being fat, I'm sick of saying "This year I'm gonna get skinny" and never doing that. I WILL do it this year!

Hi team! My name is Shannon, I am 23 year old SAHM/nursing student. I am married to me high school sweetheart of 7 years, and we have 2 boys. Connor would have been 4 this coming September, and Liam will be 1 in April. I was 110-115 before my children, got down to 120 after Connor, then got up to 177 with Liam! I have cesareans with both :( I am currently 130, but I have loose skin I would like to work on toning, and I still have 15 pounds to go. I would like to lose it by July!

Now I have a bit more time. My name is Alicia, I'm a 27yo mother to 3 boys, 7, 5, and 1. I'm a stay at home mom. I just started my journey to a healthier lifestyle this year. I started by buying a used elliptical! I am on day 10 of the 30 day shred! I think it's a great workout. Yesterday I did the first day of the couch to 5k program! It was great. It was perfect for getting me out there. It didn't over tire me or anything. I hope to keep at that as well. I'm also logging on daily (multiple times a day) to log all my food and I've been doing great not going over! Hope that wasn't too long. So, do we try to come up with a team goal?
