Wow what a weekend..

Yesterday I did my first day of Recliner to 5k.. Kicked my butt running even just a min at a time.. Going to take some major work.. Then went to a BBQ at a friends house..
Today spent the day moving most of my furniture out of the apartment to my moving pod at my Mom's house.. Half way through with the packing for the move. gotta get moving on it. Going to be a really busy week this week.. Lots going on for my oldest who is "Graduating" 5th grade..
So happy we didn't loose anyone this week. Yellow Team Rocks..

I work on campus here in Oshkosh. We have a "fun day" on campus once a year complete with games and door prizes. I won the first door prize and got to pick and chose the TV.
I never win anything either, so I was shocked!

That is AWESOME!! Where did you win it at? I never seem to win much of anything. LOL!

I just tried out the Wii Zumba game that my friend let me borrow a few weeks ago already and man did it kick my butt. I made it 20 minutes and now I'm wore out. Maybe I will actually be able to sleep tonight.

I spent time outside and got a bit red. We got a pool a few weeks ago that we finally got set up and I went in for a bit. DH and his brother were inside putting up the 46 inch flat screen TV that I won on Friday. Looks nice on my wall!

I can't believe the weekend is over with already. It went by SO fast. Yesterday Lydia and my nephew got to play on and sit in a firetruck and then my nephew and husband got to ride in the firetruck in the Cheesefest parade. It was Lydia's 1st parade and she really seemed to like it. Then we had Lydia's friends 1st birthday party followed by a fire and "adult party" afterwards. Today we spent a good portion of the day visiting grandma and grandpa. I also managed to get in a 42 minute bike ride this morning and then a 30 minute walk with my mom this afternoon. Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend!!

Sorry I wasn't able to check in yesterday. Was busy at work with a Fun Day and wasn't able to check in at all. Then I was at my parent's house until bed time. While at the Fun Day yesterday I was running around organizing the game portion of the day so I probably got 60 min of walking in during the course of the day.
Today, so far, I've gotten 46 min of working out in (6 min Butt Buster Video on here, 20 min Biggest Loser Wii-Core, 10 min strength training-core video on here, 10 min walking on treadmill).
Weigh in was the same as last Saturday :(

Don't be down on yourself you can do it and will do it.. I didn't get what I wanted this week but we just have to keep at it and we will see the results. This is the point where I usually give up on the diet. About a month in and the first time I don't see the results I want. But I am not giving up this time and I know you won't either..

Alright I did my weigh In.. I am only down .8 of a pound.. Sad but not discouraged. going to have weeks like that and I can't let it get me down. It is still a loss.. I think I built some muscle this week. I did a couple days of strength videos. Now that I am trying things other then walking I might see the loss differently. But on a very positive note I finished my first month on Spark Page down 10 pounds exactly and I lost several inches.. =)

I am so sorry I haven't been around much this week. I had my gallbladder out on April 19th of this year. So far it hasn't done me any good whatsoever. I am having really bad "attacks" where I bloat up and get a lot of pain in my stomach area from gas. Then I start throwing up horrible bile. I go back to the doctor next week and I am going to see a different specialist. They don't have a clue why this is happening--but in the meantime I have to just take painkillers and hope the pain goes away. It sucks and I feel so tired all the time. I am just physically and emotionally exhusted. I have been working out--and I am going to go back and track that, but I just haven't felt very good at all.

Sorry! I will do better next week! Hopefully, I will stop having attacks. My 5 year old has even starting recognizing when I am having them and even calls them gallbladder attacks. Kinda sad.

Decided I need to buckle down even more and actually track what I am eating. I want to see real results in the next couple weeks before start my long distance drive across country for our move.
Beautiful day today.. As soon as school is out we are heading to the beach bike path so my oldest can ride his bike and I can push the little guy in the stroller while walking. Hoping to get a nice long walk in today. then have a nice healthy dinner.. It is hard to cook healthy when your kitchen is 3/4 packed and you are trying to use up food from the pantry and freezer.

Got my workout in while pumpkin took a nap and even added on a pilates ab workout at the end. I love exercise tv, so much to choose from.

Goofykimi: my scale is like that too. I thought since we moved to a new house I would finally have even floors nope this one is uneven too. So I don't move my scale and just take the first reading which is normally the most accurate. It is normally within .5 of the ww scale.

Having trouble with my scale.. I can get on 3 times in a row and each time it says a different weight.. I know our floors are uneven and it makes it hard if I don't position it just right it gives me totally different weights.It is fustrating me and causing me to doubt my loss. So I went to my mom's house and used her scale and it had me about 7 pounds heavier.. I am seeing a difference in my clothes so I know i am thinning down but don't know what to do about the scale. siggghhhhhh.

trying to keep motivated today....just wanted to let you all know i really appreciate all the support...i dont really get any here at home or from other family and i think thats why i always fail...i really am learning the lesson when you mess up your diet that its ok to just start over and keep going...its hard but i am doing it.....I just got done doing the 10 minute walk it out on the cardio blast video...i burn extra calories becuase i have a 3 yr old hanging onto my legs demanding i stop and pay attention to him..lol...keep it up ladies you are all doing great!

Good morning everyone!! I feel bad I haven't been able to get on here for a few days....internet and dish have been knocked out due to wind.However without tv and intenet i have been getting good exercise in...even went to the zoo yesterday...(which almost killed me)...i bought those rock and tone sandals and i am feeling every bit of it. Im a little upset this morning my wii said i gained 2 lbs back yet i have been doing the best i have ever done with diet and exercise....it just really bums me out emoticon

Definately!!! I am always looking for people to walk with me on nights that my hubby is working. Where in Oshkosh do you live? (You can email me if you prefer.)

I also managed to walk about 15 minutes tonight to DQ and back with the family. Lydia's 1 year molars are finally starting to break the surface so we decided to treat her to ice cream to make them feel better.

Did you already buy the DVD? Otherwise I saw it at Target not too long ago.

I am jealous of that garden too. I also live in an apartment and just reading her post made me hungry for all good stuff she has planted.

I managed to get a walk in this morning with a friend and looks like we might go for a walk together again tomorrow!! I'm always looking for people to walk with me on days/nights that my husband in working. I got to enjoy a little sun by the pool as well before my daughter got crabby. Once we got inside I quickly learned what has been making her crabby the past two days. Her one year molars are FINALLY starting to break through the surface. Hopefully this momma gets some sleep tonight. Have a good rest of the day everyone!!!

I slept during the little man's morning nap lol. I don't know how some of you do it. I only have one and I can barely get things done all day long. He keeps me so busy. He doesn't sit still for very long and he is teething also, so between his grumpiness and the constant rolling over everywhere, I'm going crazy trying to find time to get workouts in this week! I still get it done somehow but I honestly don't know where or when because it just seems like a blur.

It's been a good a week eating for me, kind of, I'm addicted to salads and we've been grilling everything lately but there was cake and ice cream in there somewhere.. shhhhh.

Also the damn maintenance people never showed up yesterday so its day 2 of waiting for them but I'm going to workout anyway whenever I get the chance.

Pumpkin did not sleep in this am so I had to do my workout later but i got that finished and finished cleaning the house while she took her nap. We managed to get the rest of the garden in yesterday. We are going to have a ton of vegetables this year if everything grows.
Tomatoes, peppers, cabbage, broccoli, carrots, onions, lettuce, spinach, peas, green and yellow beans, spaghetti squash, cucumbers, buttercup squash, green and yellow squash, butternut squash, some other orange squash forgot the name of it, asparagus, and rhubarb. i think that's everything plus this year our strawberry plants will be ready plus we have 6 blueberry bushes. Hopefully it is a nice summer so everything grows well.

Getting my workouts in and getting the garden planted are probably the only good things I did this week. I looked at the scale this morning and it was bad really bad. My eating has been massively out of control since last thursday. I soo sooo do not want to go to my ww meeting tomorrow. i was so close to my 10% and now I am a lot farther away. hopefully I don't manage to talk myself out of going tomorrow.

I didn't sleep so good last night. I only got about 3 hours of sleep and have been up since about 4 am. At least I got 25 minutes of Wii Fit time in so far today. Going to be taking a walk today as well.

Couldn't quite fit in my workout yesterday.
Got it in already this morning. 6 min strength training (thanks for getting me back on that), 12 min Biggest Loser Wii Full Body, and 12 min walk on the treadmill at 4.5.
Hoping to get another workout in after work today. Going to start the 30 Day Shred I think. Wish me luck on that.

I'm loving this Survivor challenge because it keeps me accountable to people and I don't want to disappoint so I make sure that I'm getting my workouts in.

I want a bike trailer! My husband won't ride bikes. Or do anything outdoors actually!

I am exhusted today. I got my work-out in and coached my son's baseball team tonight. Now I am going to bed!

I did 2 walks today. 1st walked the mall with my Mom this morning and did a mile. took about a half hour. Then this evening I did 1.70 miles in 36 min. Feel great this evening.

We attempted a bike ride today. It lasted about 20 minutes. It wasn't a good idea though because it was so windy and of course today my husband let me pull our daughter in the bike trailer for the first time. Now I am exhausted cuz it has been a long day with a crabby girl that doesn't like to nap and got up way too early today. She is in bed already and usually doesn't go to bed for another 40ish minutes. Hope she isn't up too early tomorrow morning. We have a walked planned though with a friend. :)

Waiting to see if my apartment maintenance are going to come and fix my balcony from the fire, they are supposed to be here today. I want to work out but I don't want to be mid-workout when they knock on the door and I'm all sweaty lol! I'm kinda mad too because I could have done it earlier when the little one actually took a nap earlier (which is rare)!

I went to the mall today in search of a dress for my nieces Bat Mitzvah next month and while I didn't find a dress yet I was very excited to find I am down a size.. =) My progress is starting to show..

Hi all!

Hope you all had a great weekend! I got my exercise in at the Rockies game, between all the walking and running to catch the buses and then my MILLION trips up and down the stairs with my 5 year old DD!

Yesterday I exercised in the am on the wii and putzed in my garden before the wind started blowing all crazy and I am hoping to hit the wii when I get home tonight!

Good morning everyone. i managed to get part of the garden planted yesterday. 6 tomatoes, 12 broccoli, 6 cabbage, 12 peppers, green and yellow beans, carrots, and peas. hopefully we are able to get the rest in today.

I woke up earlier than the munchkin today so i managed to get my workout in early.

It is crazy, I just commented on 4 Spark pages and now it won't let me do anymore. Since 5 is half of our team if I don't count myself-I was going to leave a comment for all of you! :-(

I am going to go take a shower and get all my sweat off from chasing the boys around outside for the last 9 hours and my 20 minute treadmill session! I am beat. After taht I am going to bed. emoticon

I did a 10 min cardio kickboxing video from here.
Then I did a 10 min run on the treadmill (5 min at 5.0, 2 min at 5.3, 2 min at 5.5, and 1 min at 6.0).
I then had my last chance workout on Biggest Loser Wii which was 5 min.

Does going up and down stairs while carrying boxes out of my apartment for 2 hours count as my 20 min of excersise because I really have no more energy for today.. =) I don't think I could stand for 5 more min let alone do an excersise video for 20 min..

I am so jealous of all you mom's that get to exercise while your kids are napping. I wish my daughter would nap. It seems the only way I can get her to ever nap is if I nap with her or if we are driving in the car. Weighing in as soon as I get up in the morning. Hopefully I've lost. I know I've slacked some on exercising but have been doing really well food-wise this week. It's been a busy week.
