Sorry, I haven't visited in awhile (been busy adjusting to the new "plant based diet" this challenge has inspired)! I'm feeling waaay more energetic and love the way I feel, but it's been challenging coming up with menu plans that are balanced and taste good too. One of these days I'll make a Spark page, but thanks all the same !!!! emoticon

For those confused...

All you have to do is find the first post (the one where I started the thread). In it is a template with the dates. You just have to copy and paste it into a reply on the same thread (the same way you already replied to the thread). Each day (or every few days - whenever you can), you come back to the thread and find your post and click "Edit" and write in your new total (it is 5 points for every serving of fruit or vegetables a day so if you had 3 servings it would be 15 and so on). At the end of the week you add it up and I will go and give goodies to the 3 who had the most during the week.

This is my 1st challenge and I think I'm doing this right.... all I need to do to "join" is reply- correct? If there's more to it somebody please let me know ;) One tip for anyone who wants it: a non dairy green fruit smoothie will get you really close to 5/day in one fairly low cal serving. I freeze ripe bananas and blueberries and use one or the other to make it frosty. Add a handful of fresh spinach (you won't taste it, I promise) and a couple other fruits, a little water and blend. Nutritious, delicious, fulfills most of your daily servings, AND it will give you a boost of energy!

Diet can be even more important than exercise so we will focus on getting a LOT of fruits and veggies in this month. There is a saying that we should "Eat the rainbow." every day. So let's do it! Give yourself 5 points for each serving of fruits and/or veggies you eat a day. As usual, copy and paste the template into your post and just edit it when you can!
