If you are experiencing nausea and vomiting when exercising, I think you should see your doctor. It's best to be safe and make sure everything is ok before going any further with your exercise program. emoticon

Also please read this and look at symptoms. If this sounds like it could be then please see your dr. It could be nothing but nausea and vomiting are not normal for a light exercise program. While it is hard for people not used to it, it is not extreme enough to normally induce vomiting.

Do you take anything for the motion sickness? That might be worth a try as that can trigger the nausea. I would think your water intake is good unless its very hot where you are. Another thing to consider is allergies. I know where I am it is the worst pollen season I can remember.
Everyone is different so you can try different things to resolve. If you have tried everything and still happening I would still recommend talking to your dr. Track what steps you have tried so they can be informed. Please keep us informed as to the progress on the nausea

I do get car sick sometimes.....and at times I will feel lightheaded when I'm nauseated. I have a 24 oz tumbler that I bring to work and I fill that about 3 times at work. Then when I come home I try to have another glass about 30 minutes before I run and I'll drink another glass when I'm done. I've tried very hard to drink as much as I can especially on days that I know I'm going to run because I read the dehydration is usually causes the nausea and the heartburn.....I've also started counting calories and I make sure that I don't eat anything 2 hours before a run.

This happens to me on occasion, and tends to be when I am starting to get dehydrated or haven't taken in enough calories in the day.

Hello! I just found this group and am new. I am currently on week 5 day 1 of C25k and was just wondering if any of you guys have had issues with heartburn and nausea when running? I've tried alot of different things....not eating 2 hours before a run, not drinking water too soon before a run, and slowing my pace are just a few things that I've tried. And yet still, at the very last running interval always ends with my trying desperately not throw to up on someones lawn while still trying to push through to finish my training. This is something that I have tried to overcome since Week 2. This makes me very nervous to even attempt the 20 minute run this week.

Have any of you guys dealt with this? How did you deal with it?
