I need to get on the ball! I live in Ohio. I have found a few 5Ks but does anyone have advice for good resources to find 5Ks?

That's great! I have my first 5K planned for early June, but a friend asked me to join one a month before and I'm considering it.

I just signed up for my first 5K! Have been enjoying my first week doing the Couch to 5K but thought I needed a real 5K for my end goal. Then came along the Vampire 5K in Atlanta! It's the end of April so perfect timing and what fun it will be!

Following the Golden Rules:
1. Eat when I am hungry
2. Eat what I want
3.Eat consciously
4.Stop when I am full.

Thanks for the encouragement! I'm pretty pumped. Haven't been doing much running more elliptical work but hopefully this week I'll kick it into gear with the treadmill since outside is looking like a no go at the moment.

Ready to tackle my list of running goals this year!

My first 5k is just two weeks away! Hello Ground Hogs Day! Second one is the second week in March and I'm scheduled for a half Marathon the last week in September! One very motivated and excited new runner right here. :)
