Failure is a relative term. By finishing a 5k walk run or uotherwise you are ahead of where you would have been.

You haven't enough time to get it all done. You aren't trying to win your first 5k you are trying to beat yourself. So lace up get walking and let C25k change your life.

You're fine and have plenty of time. If you haven't been walking at all start with that. Download a 5k program to follow.

You are ahead of me if you ran only a decade ago. I decided to start again after 15 years (last time I lived in SoCal and now I'm back and these crazy people out here run). emoticon

I found the first several weeks to be very easy, and you can always repeat days or weeks if you need to. So go on and get started in the beautiful spring weather. You can do it! Good Luck!

I haven't ran in 10 years...and even than I don't know if I could of done a 5K. Here I went and signed myself for "Color Me Rad" which is a 5K on August 25th. Should I maybe do a couple of weeks of getting in shape than start the C25K?? I'm ready to run..I just don't know if my body is. Do you think I've given myself enough time?? emoticon
