So far NO tiny Butterfingers. Make some homemade spinach and zucchini soup (it was terrible but I ate it anyway), some fennel salad (I liked it but my husband did not - he would only eat ONE bite!), and have the ingredients for a cold cucumber soup (wish me luck; I've tried different recipes in the past that have not turned out very well). And I'm ripening up a big mango and also a honeydew melon I'm going to make into ice pops out of the "Ice Pop Joy" cookbook I bought on a whim. My hubby normally does all the daily cooking. He's very, very good at it. So I'm getting into the kitchen at least once a day and either cooking something or at least slicing up some fruits or veggies. I'm slow and fumbly so far but look forward to getting more at ease and faster in the kitchen!

it is raining!!!!!!!!!! praise the lord for every drop of moisture we recieve!
this past week i have had fresh squash, cucmbers, tomatoes, peppers, and onion from my moms garden, they really are delicious, so much better than french fries and drive thru junk!
i also had some fredericksburg peaches and apricots from my moms tree! having all these fresh foods are helping me stick to my challenge and i can already tell that i feel better. ravyna i agree exercise is still my hardest behaviorial change and i am proud of you for going to curves even tho you did not feel like it, emoticon emoticon we can do this!

Got in my fruits and vegetables, and had a low carb yogurt. Also went and exercised at Curves even though I didn't feel like it.

On tracking my foods, I found that I am short on Fiber and calcium and protein even though I eat lots of nuts, and fruits and vegs. I am adding low carb yogurt to my diet, and will find a way to add fiber.

thanks I had a yogurt for lunch.

Way to go, Dequinta! I will give up my beloved tiny Butterfingers starting today. I will replace them with some kind of fresh fruit (which means more trips to the store, which will be good to keep up with). What a great idea! You rock! DAY 1

Good idea. I want to add more fruits and vegetables. I want to add healthy snacks into my diet. I will work on this for the next 21 days.

to continue the give up one thing challenge, give up one bad habit(or food) and replace it with one good habit (food) for 21 days beginning may 28th thru june 17th.
my worst enemy is still the fast fatty foods from the drive thru windows. i will replace it with
fresh foods from home or the salads/grilled choices at the drive thru. emoticon
