Did the first mile (12mins) of 5 Mile Fat Burning Walk this morning, followed by Yoga for Inflexible People (6 minute of Sun Salutations) and ended workouts with Slim & Limber (14 mins). I feel good!

Oh wow...it's been a while since I did ChaLean Extreme's Extreme Intervals.Cardio drills are mixed with strength endurance (weights used) exercises to bring your heart rate down again before moving to the next cardio set. The use of the ball adds additional resistence and causes you to engage the core muscles to balance your body. You get a nice stretch at the end for the back, shoulders & legs by using the ball.

It is a 40 minute workout which left me highly drenched...can the eyeballs sweat...LOL! Of course, I didn't master the workout and have room for improvement.

Worked out this morning with Leslie Sansone's 5 Mile Fat Burning Walk (did 3 of 5miles) and it has been a long time since using this DVD. It felt as great as walking outdoors and no uneven terrain to deal with. This workout left me more drenched than expected...lol. I drank a Whey Protein Smoothie with added frozen fruits (mango, papaya, strawberries) and a fresh banana before & after.

Not really walking right now - at least not in a way that I can log, but I am so active with fall yard cleanup that I know I'm getting mucho exercising in each day. Leaves are falling, nuts are falling, stones need moved, flowers need transplanted, weedeating and mowing a time or two yet, not to mention siding needs scrubbed down, windows need washing. THESE are the things on my "exercise to do" list right now. But Leslie, I miss you, and am looking forward to having the time again to WATP!!

This is Thursday and I completed a 45 minute walk/jog (6 jogging intervals) as scheduled. It felt good outdoors with temps around 75 and sunny skies. I have plans of doing an ab routine on the stability ball.

It's Monday! I feel especially thrilled about my accomplishment in doing one round (1/2 of dvd) of today's P90X Chest & Back. I was able to do several push-ups from my TOES, ten of those Decline push-ups AND did three of the Dive-bomber Push-ups which are CRAZY tough...Yay! I was surprised how much stronger my core had gotten to support push-ups from my toes...lol. I've been struggling with them for a couple of years.

I feel like an extra strong woman today!

29 toe push-ups
39 knee push-ups

Walking not scheduled for today....

TGIF and I mean it...lol! Just finished 30 of 59 minutes P90X Back & Legs with more concentration on the leg exercises and added three types of push-up moves. Those single leg wall squats are tough and I stayed at a 45 degree instead of 90 degree like the instructors...lol. This workout left my legs wobbly so it hit those muscles just perfectly.

Completed 1/2 of the 52 minute P90X Chest & Back exercises. There were push-up moves, use of weights, and pull-up/chin-up moves involved. For any of the "pull-up/chin-up" type moves I improvised using weights because of no pull-up bar. I still modify push-ups from my knees. Weights used in the routine this week were 7.5lbs, 12.5lbs, 15lbs.

It was an 'okay' workout session.

Happy Labor Day!

Ok, didn't get any more exercise in yesterday, but made up for it today. Did Leslies Just Walk with power surges 4 miles. WHEW! feeling the burn. Really feeling stronger and seem to be gaining more stamina. emoticon emoticon
