ohh good one!

I like living. I have sometimes been wildly, despairingly, acutely miserable, racked with sorrow, but through it all I still know quite certainly that just to be alive is a grand thing. Agatha Christie

Pre-portion food into baggies & containers. I divide out most things from cooking ingredients to snacks. There's no temptation to eat more, I know exactly how much I can have.

Also, and this is sort of an old one, but always take the long way. Park far away from buildings, take the stairs, etc. Al those extra steps really do add up.

Happy Thursday to you!

We hear them all the time. Little things that people have learned to make their weight loss, exercise, and life easier. I thought we could pass around some things that work well for each of us.

Your challenge today is to POST A HANDY TIP. Your tip(s) could be in any of these categories:

*Food related
*Exercise related
*Water consumption related
*Organizing your home

To give you an idea of what I mean, here is a tip from me:

FOOD RELATED:

1) Buy a bunch when onions and bell peppers are on sale. Dice them up and separate them evenly into freezer bags. On busy nights when you need to add items to your dish, these baggies come in handy!

2) Got vegetables (i.e. carrot, celery, onions, etc.) that haven't gone bad yet, but still aren't "crunchy fresh"? Dice them up and put them into freezer bags. These are fantastic additions to that soup you put into your crockpot!

3) Have your bananas started to turn black? Never fear! Peel and dice them into chunks. Put them in freezer bags (along with other fruit that is going past ripe). These are great items to add to yogurt and protein powder for a delicious smoothie!

What can you come up with today?

Have a great Thursday!
