I used to play volleyball but am not in a position to play right now. I do most of my walking at work, usually about 2 miles in my 8 hour shift. Eating kids snacks is an easy thing to do. I have been trying really hard to keep track of what I eat but today was very bad. typically i try to hit 1600 calories as my minimum, any more than that and i feel like i am over eating. but today i didn't even finish inputting my food because it was already over 2100 calories with what i put in. it wasn't a ton of food it was just really bad food. As for exercising, I am trying to find a good groove to get into. I have a jump rope but it has been raining like crazy here for the last week, I have an exercise ball and numerous exercise dvds that I can use. its just a matter of getting up to actually do it. The only time I really have to exercise is in the mornings because I work from 1pm-9:30pm full time. by the time i get home from work I am worn out and go straight to bed. I am hoping that april will be a better month for me as I am going to try to get up early 5 days a week to exercise. it shouldn't be hard since i have to get my son up for school but getting up before 6:20am is something that I struggle with.

MOMOFONE87- I have also fallen off the wagon and am feeling very upset with myself about it. Since I've been in a new relationship (he has two toddlers which is new to me), I have put on a few pounds and have been less active. I have gotten into the bad habit of eating the kids type of snacks with them, and it is not good for me! I have also gotten way to comfortable eating too much, and it finally hit me yesterday when my usual pair of jeans was way too snug and barely buttoned. I broke down and cried and decided I was going to get back into shape...regardless that my BF says he loves my body lol. I work in a semi busy retail environment where I am doing a decent amount of walking, but like you said, more exercise than that is what I need. I have a bad back, with sciatic pain so it makes me nervous to do regular workouts.
I want to say congratulations on losing the 10 pounds and good for you for wanting to do more workouts. Have you found anything that you enjoy in terms of exercise?

If you are short on time, some people will incorporate weights while doing their walking. For example, some people might do the basic dumbbell workouts as they walk such as--shoulder press, bicep curl, tricep extension, etc but using lighter weights.

Another way to do it is if you do your weight training and take minimal breaks between sets. Good luck!!

I am taking it one step at a time. I do a lot of walking at work so that covers my cardio but i need to do the strength training too.

Good goals :) Are you breaking them down into little steps or going all out for the big numbers?

My current goals are to lose another 15-20 pounds, shave several inches off my waist and fit into my jeans again. I am shopping around for a bridesmaid dress and I want to be able to fit into it comfortably without having to suck in my stomach or look pregnant when I wear it.

I fell off the wagon for quite some time and ended up putting on nearly 10 pounds. I just started working again about 2 months ago and have since dropped that 10 pounds, but I also need to do more exercise than just the walking I do at work. I am in need of motivation and support from anyone who wants to help and I will gladly return the favor.
