Hello lovely ladies,

I am 27 years old interested in having a buddy to share this crazy adventure with! I am 160lbs trying to get down to 140-135lbs. I am a realist and can be blunt at times. I just recently got married and between my schedule and my husbands schedule spending time together is rare so I spend a lot of my time alone, especially when it comes to working out. Hey ladies,

I'm a 21 about to be college graduate who has been struggling to lose the same 15 pounds for over a year now. I'm at 130 right now, and every time I get close to my goal of 115 I gain it right back, all of which goes right to my stomach. I've tried all kinds of diet and exercise plans but always get bored after a few days and end up binging on junk food, leaving me back at square one. I'm going to be a nurse, so I will be working long hours on different days/nights every week. My main obstacles seem to be getting enough sleep when I'm working and eating healthy when I'm not.

Looking for a buddy to check in with about once a week. Maybe if I become accountable to someone besides myself I can finally stick to a healthier lifestyle and lose the freshmen 15 that has lasted for four years.

Hi I'm 23 almost 24. I live in NH. I'm currently 166 and I'm trying to get down to 130 by the end of the year. I would also love to make some sparkbuddies with similar goals as mine. I walk/run 5 times a week and I'm training for a half mararthon that I'm planning to run in October.

Hey everyone :)

I'm 21 and currently weigh about 157, and am trying to get down to 120. I have a 3 year old son and go to school full time. My boyfriend and I live together, so I do see him alot (too much sometimes =P). I was doing really good for a while with my weight loss, but lately I have been feeling so unmotivated. I've been having too many treats, and not exercising enough. So I would love to have a buddy to make me own up to what I have or haven't done, and to help me challenge myself. I have decided to challenge myself to reach 1500 fitness minutes this month, but having a buddy would definately help me reach this (I am currently only at 590). So if anyone's interested...write me too!

Hey Ladies!

So... I'm also looking for a buddy... or two, or, well... a couple of people to keep me on track. I'm 25 and I live wherever the job takes me... literally. Right now I'm in Ohio, I'll be back in VA (my "home base") in April and then I'll be in RI from May-Dec.
Right now I'm probably about 140, but as I'm a shorty... I'd like to be in the 120s, lower 130s to be in my healthy BMI range.
Because of my job and moving around I don't always have the best internet access, so unfortunately I can't promise to be an "every day" buddy. Maybe some weekly goals?
Also because of my job I don't get to see my boyfriend much either. He's in VA, and we see each other whenever we can, but often that's not much. I guess there are more ladies "alone" out there then just me :)
I'm new to this "asking for help" thing. I've always done everything on my own and been in control. However, I'm beginning to understand that life is a journey that doesn't have to be taken alone. So... if you're interested, let me know.

Hey Amanda! I'm 26 yrs old. Currently about 164-165. My next goal is to get to around 132 (technically normal BMI for me).

My boyfriend is currently in PA (I'm in VA) so I feel ya on being alone alot!

I have 2 daughters, ages 5 and 4. My 5 yr old lives with me, my 4 yr old lives in a home for disabled children (she has cerebal palsy). I work as an assistant manager for a cleaning company so my dayjob keeps me pretty busy and active. I try to go to the gym at least 3 times a week. I just started going to a class called Zumba. It's a really good workout. My trouble areas are my stomach and arms. And I'm trying to start eating a little healthier. I eliminated soda from my diet and it's been hard but I feel better without it! My highest weight was 192 and I'm so glad to not be that close to 200 anymore! I'm 5'1 so my ultimate goal is lower than the 130s, around 105-110 (I have a small frame also).

Hello =)

I am looking for someone my age (24) and around my weight who wants to lose around 25-40 pounds during this year, and become healthier.

I'm very outgoing (most of the time) but tend to keep to myself out of habit. My boyfriend works all the time, so I'm alone a lot- especially when exercising. I am hoping spark people and having a buddy on here will give me someone to "report to" and to motivate me when I slip up.

I respond pretty well to competition (such as "I won't drink any soda today if you won't!" or "I bet I can do 60 minutes of cardio today, what about you?" etc.) to get the job done. It always seems like you can do that little extra when there is someone else to compete with. I'm hoping the "little extras" will add up for me and my buddy so we can reach our goals quickly. I'm really interested in reaching and maintaining a healthy weight and lifestyle. I don't really have a major event- a recent pregnancy or upcoming marriage (not soon at least =), nor do I have a life threatening disease. I just want to be healthy.
