I'll make sure I include you when I set up all the info. for the team ... it is going to be awesome! I was thinking of doing the Mardi Gras Marathon first, which is next January or February, so we have lots of time to train :-) Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!!

I'm not looking to loose a lot also...
I have a desk job... attend a Masters program, and have a busy life as well.

I have a hard time
A. After work hours deciding whether or not to go to the gym, and
B. weekends- where all I want to do is relax... or work on school projects (which I dont have much time for during the week.

I would totally join a marathon group as well!

... i was thinking of doing a half marathon as well but ... dont have the motivation.
I can do a 10k just fine... but the extra miles are really intense for me.

Oh my gosh, I'd love to be in a marathon group. I'm thinking of running a half-marathon in August, but can't stay motivated. I'm just trying to keep from losing weight, as I'm about to get married and just got a desk job (yikes!).

Hey Everyone. I am 24 and just started a new job where I sit all day long. No matter what I seem to do the weight seems to slowly creep up bc I sit all day and work on the computer. I don't have a ton to lose ... my goal is 7 lbs. ... but I would love the help to be motivated and try new workouts. I am going to be putting together a SparkPeople team to train for a marathon if that appeals to you. I love hiking, playing guitar, and being outside!
