Not something that we need to do in our area---but I will say that drought will cause the leaves to not be very pretty.

I've never heard of it, but if you are in one of the areas that has suffered from drought this summer, I wouldn't hold back on watering because the trees and shrubs would already be extreemly stressed and holding back watering could be enough extra stress to kill some of them.

Hi, I remember reading somewhere to hold off on watering trees and shrubs so that you will get fall color. Has anyone every heard this? I always thought it was the temperature. emoticon
