I actually walked the one mile course, and then walked around the city quite a bit, walked about 70 minutes.

Have done something every day, but today did 35 minutes on the treadmill, and 10 minutes on the recumbent cross trainer.

Tomorrow morning, walking 1 mile in the Komen Race for the Cure. Wish me luck

Great job.

I did come home and rode my exercise bike for 40 minutes. almost 8 miles. The first 35 minutes I was ahead of 5 miles an hour, and the last 5, I slowed a bit to cool down.

You are right, it helps my knees, it helps my attitude, and it is pretty good exercise.

Good going Mz Lzzy.

Another day derailed a bit. Had to take my cat back to the vet to get a shot so she would stop vomiting.

Going to get the girls off the bus this afternoon and then to dinner with my friend Diana. We always go to Max and Erma's for our birthdays, so we are going for mine tonight.

Looks like the exercise bike again tonight

My plan to go swimming was derailed because I had to take my cat to the vet. She has not been quite right for a couple of days, and I could see she had not gone to the bathroom for awhile. She has a urinary tract infection and was constipated from her very full bladder.

Dr took care of all of that, and now she is on antibiotics. She should be fine. Expensive, but fine.

Since I did not get to swim, I rode my stationary bike for 40 minutes. I am so glad I have that for times like this.

Kept the streak going anyway.

Saturday I swam for an hour at the Y. Felt soo good.

Yesterday, I walked about 40 minutes. Was at a concert, had a great time, my 65th birthday.

Home about 2:30am. Exhausted today. I am actually taking a break today My body is tired, and I am resting it so that I can have more energy tomorrow.

Thanks Janette.

I did ok yesterday. I went to my friend Debbie's on Thurs evening and she had made a nice dinner for us. Chicken salad with lots of veggies in it. Lots of fresh fruit, pineapple so sweet you thought it was candy, and a dessert.

I ate good food. I had a piece of dessert. I did not stress.

Yesterday, Debbie made a nice breakfast for us, and then we ate lunch and dinner out. I did the best I could, and called it good.

Today I ate a decent breakfast.

I did not get as much walking in as I thought I would, so I went outside the restaurant we were at last evening, we were there quite a while, and walked around the parking lot and adjoining parking lots. That way I was able to get about 15 minutes of walking in. Kept my streak going.

Thanks so much girls. Rode the stationary bike for 35 minutes this morning.

Tonight is the beginning of my birthday celebration. Spending the night with friends and planning a great day exploring with my 3 friends tomorrow. Not sure just what we will do on Sat, I may need to rest, lol, but on Sunday, my actual birthday, we are going to see the Zac Brown Band.

Thanks! The bf's ex lives about 20 mins away and his 9 yr old son goes to school in that neighbor hood. But the boy lives half the week with us and half the week with his mom. And the mom is away a lot on business trips. So I help get the boy to and from school. And then he just recently started to play football too, so that is 4-7 days a week. And then we have two dogs too that I usually walk separately as the pup pulls too much still so it is hard to walk them together. So it is all helping me to get in a lot of miles.

Woohoo, congrats, great way to go and be flexible. My day doesn't always go the way I think it is going to go either. Sometimes at the last minute I have to play chauffeur/babysitter too, or something else comes up. So then I too just try to find some thing else that I can do when ever I can fit it in, even if it is only a few mins at at time.

Today walked for about 20 minutes, worked out at theY for 35 minutes.
Am going to pick up my friend and we are going back to the Y to play in the pool.

Today was day 9 of my uncounted umpteenth attempt to restart being active again. Thanks to the ideas of at least 10 minutes a day and streaking...I made day 9 only because I didn't want to restart again! And ended up doing 55 minutes today! On to day 10 tomorrow!

Original SW on 1/1/11 - 204.4 lbs.
Original GW on 9/1/11 - 134.5 lbs
Original GOAL ACHIEVED! 70 lbs. banished!

Time zone: EST +6 hours

New SW on 6/6/16 - 183.8
New GW by 12/31/16 - 135
