Awesome Lori! Not really that warm here yet!

But I did turn on my music, got my tea, and sat and drank every drop. No TV, no people, just me and Badness and the cats. IT was awesome!

So my choice for me changed drastically when I woke up this morning and saw that glorious sunshine. I opened up the patio door first thing and never closed it till dark. After my girl left for school I made myself breakfast and say out on the back deck for an hour and a half, just drinking my tea, petting the dog and listening to the kids laugh and carry on as they walked by on the back street and enjoyed listening to the birds sing as the squirrel ran back and forth the pine trees in the backyard..... Awe life is great!!!! emoticon

It's funny you chose Wednesday for the ZEN DAY, because it's Yoga Day at work.

I so welcome this challenge and tomorrow night will be the perfect time to allow myself the down time. Hubby works and the girl is in bed by 830 so I think I might even take 30 minutes. That's allowed right!! Lol
Yup a 30 minute bubble bath..... And I even got stuff for Mother's Day to use.

Hi team!

Seems everyone is so busy and rushing all the time I thought a good mid-week challenge would be something to help us slow down and relax.

SO the challenge is to pick a quiet place with a nice relaxing beverage and relax. Just breath and enjoy at least 10 minutes of nothing. Don't worry about the laundry or the dishes...there are no little fairies going to come and do it...it will still be there when you get up. Put down the phone...turn off the TV. Maybe pick up a book, or a crossword puzzle and just enjoy.

10 MINUTES - ZEN TIME!!
