I am exercising to be healthy, and to get back into some of my clothes. I enjoy the energy that I have now. Before I was tired. Also my blood pressure has went down from what it was at one time. Very high.

My shallow reasons is wanting to wear smaller sized clothes and to look hot again

My deeper reasons is to not abuse my body so much,
to learn to make peace with my physical being as I have not been at peace forever,
to reduce my risks of diabetes, stroke and cardiac disease
and to be able to move and be more flexible again. Sharon

First I want it for myself. I want to be the sexy wife for my husband, I want to feel better about myself and be there for my two boys. Secondly I want it for my health. Diabetes and fibromayalia run very high in my family so I want to try and prevent it. One of the leading causes of diabetes is weight. I don't want that to be a factor!

I am doing this for me. I was tired of not being able to keep up with my son, now I can play with him for a longer period of time, not all day like he can go but for a while. I can play baseball with him and jog around and it feels good. It also shows him my motivation for losing weight and finishing what I started. I wanted to do this so My ex would know what he is missing out on :) an dhe HAS realized it since he calls me ALL the time now :) I wanted to show people I would NOT be the fat girl anymore. I was tired of being just sheri, I want to be SHERI ... know what I mean? lol my health was a huge factor, I want to be off of cholesterol medicine and my 2 bp medicines. I want another aby before Iam 35 (MAYBE) but I have serious health issues with my pregnancies and I was hoping losing weight might help that, thats still up in the air though. Thats just a few ...

Your Daily Challenge (optional) is to list all the reasons you are exercising and following a healthy diet BESIDES losing weight. Weight loss is often the reason we all start, but the lifestyle change includes all kinds of other benefits that should keep us on this path, even if without weight loss. This becomes an issue when we reach our goal weight- now we're healthy and don't have weight loss as the driving motivation. So start thinking now of all the ways this lifestyle is beneficial- more energy, better skin and hair, lower risk for diseases, bone health, setting a good example for your family, heart health, etc. on those days you feel like giving up because you're not seeing the weight loss results, use this list to remind yourself of all the other reasons you're doing this.
