I just blogged the beginning of July that this is the month that I wanted to challenge myself to jog 5 miles in an hour. I have done 3miles at 5mph so far. Which is a personal best. Tammy

Your Daily Challenge (optional) is to set a fitness goal. You probably already have a goal to exercise a certain number of minutes or burn a certain number of calories, but this is different. Choose a specific fitness goal that you will achieve, such as doing a full pushup, doing a chin-up, running for a mile without stopping, running a 5k or a 10k, lifting a certain weight for a strength exercise, doing a yoga pose, or anything else you can think of. Make a plan for how you will go about achieving this goal. Some of these are listed under Sparkpeople Workouts in the fitness section, others you will have to plan on your own.
