I did today's upper body workout using 5 lb weights. I use 3 lbs most of the time & am trying to build up to the 5 more regularly. For the bonus, I had push-ups as part of my EA Active workout plus did a set of wall push-ups. Tired arms now. :-)

Today's jumping cardio really about does me in. I sooo did not want to do it today; but, I did. Always happy and proud that I did it afterwards so I wonder why I even waste my time thinking that I would like to avoid it.

Also did a little over an hour on Wii Fit and a few strength training items too. It's a good day.

Some days the bootcamp workouts are just easier than others. Today was the 15 min core workout again. I do need to the core work; but, man, I had to do the modified or easier alternative for most of them today. I think I've just worked out a bit too much this week already and I could really feel this. Tomorrow is the dreaded cardio video where we have to jump, jump, jump. Better rest up for it. LOL

I like the upper body workout that we did today. It surprised me how much I feel it burn in my glutes & thighs while leaning back on the ball for these exercises. For my cardio today I did a 30 min. run with Wii Fit.

Sunday means we were back to the 10 minute SP cardio jump start video again. I enjoy this (I guess); but can still not do all the jumping that Coach Nicole does. I have to take it down a notch; but even with that, it gets my heart rate up more than most any other exercise. I'll be doing Monday's workout soon.

Quite a core workout with today's bootcamp. I like this set of exercises, though I have to do some of them a little modified to avoid overdoing things for my back. Used Wii Fit for my cardio.

Today's bootcamp video was all upper body work. Had just finished a lot of upper body work on EA Active also so my arms got plenty of work today.

Tonight I did the past 3 days of Bootcamp videos. I didn't do them earlier this week because of having 3 very long & very late days at work. Glad to be catching up again. I really do enjoy the bootcamp and the variety it brings to my strength training.

All's good regarding keeping up with Bootcamp so far. Haven't done today's workout yet; but plan on that soon. I've really liked that the ball is a part of many of the videos as I hadn't used it nearly enough lately.

I'm also doing all the cardio and bonus challenges that are part of the Bootcamp. Well, all except yesterday's bonus about limiting caffeine that is. Have to have my morning java.

Started the SP Bootcamp Sunday & am really happy that I decided to join that. If any of you are already doing it, I wish you the best of luck & invite you to post about it here if you are looking for a place to chat about how you're doing.

If you're not in the Bootcamp, you might think about joining it if you can benefit from a fresh routine and maybe a kick in the seat to get the new year off to a good start.

The first day's cardio video really kicked my butt. So much jumping. I can't do all the jumps that Coach Nicole can; but I sure kept moving & my heart pumping.

Yesterday was lower body workout & today was upper body. These are all rather short routines (about 8 mins); but, I can sure feel them. I take that as meaning they are good workouts & good for me. :-)

I've been keeping up with the 30 mins of cardio per day that the Bootcamp calls for also & exceeding it, using EA Active More Workouts & Wii Fit Plus for the cardio.
