Did ok on protein level.

Cardio was from Wii Fit and hiking/walking today.

Catching up on my posting for the past few days...

I met my minimum protein and then some each day except Thurs when I was about 5 grams under recommended range.

Been doing pretty good on the cardio variety too. Most days have been a combo of Wii Sports & Wii Fit, also some walking. Today I got in 1 1/2 hours gardening for some outdoors activity.

Monday, I was a little under on protein - only 57 grams. Will plan meals better on Tuesday so I do better.

Monday's cardio was from a mixture of Wii Fit running and Wii Sports. Also got in some good strength workout in addition to the cardio work.

Even better on protein Sunday. 81 grams. Went over on sodium and cholesterol though so that's not so good. Protein was mainly from ham for breakfast, chicken at lunch, turkey breast at dinner.

For cardio exercise, mostly came from walking and hiking with family.

Got more than my minimum of protein so that's a good thing. 70 grams & my range is 60 - 164.

For cardio part, I did some Wii Fit Advanced Step, then 80 mins of Wii Sports with grandson, plus some outside playing time with him. Not real strenuous; but I was up and moving.

Jul 11 - 20 Challenge

Let's try a combo of nutrition and exercise challenge for these 10 days.

Nutrition Challenge: Focus on your protein. Make sure you get more than the minimum required for your calorie range and try to get it from a bigger variety of foods than you may usually do.

Exercise Challenge: Get in 2 different types of cardio per day at least 5 days per week.

I hope you decide to join me and work to make July a very healthy month.
