Thanks for the Netflix info; I've never looked for fitness titles there...of course, I don't watch movies often either. LOL Even after a year, I still feel like a newbie to all this fitness stuff.

Sounds like it's raining all across the country. Off & on here too. Already got in 70 minutes of "exercise" by clearing flower beds & mulching betweeen raindrops. More later...

Enjoy your day!

Beccalynn - They have hundreds of fitness titles. You name it they've got it, and some you can even stream to your computer immediately at no additional cost. It definitely keeps my workouts fresh and new without all the expense of buying a dud that you won't use.

Yuk, 6 days of rain. It's raining now, but supposed to be nice Saturday morning. DD and I have a 5k in the AM so I hope the weatherman's right this time.

Brian36 - sounds like Netflix has a great selection of exercise videos. I don't use them, but I think I'll check our library and see what they have. Would be nice for these rainy days we've been having.

I finally got back on track and went for a walk with my sis-in-law yesterday. Today depends on the weather. Our 7 day forcast has 6 days of rain!

Got another netflix DVD - Gilad's Core & More. This one's a keeper. 60 minutes of low intensity, no impact, non-sweaty core work. Rockin' bikini here I come!!!

The other netflix was not so good. The Firm Cardio Max. I at least lasted 30 minutes before they got all fancy with the foot work.

Well, I did get a little creative. I ran as best I could for about 35 minutes. Then I pulled out the Pilates Abs with Ball DVD and put in another 30 minutes. Not a huge calorie burn workout. I'm going to have to adjust my eating until my leg starts getting better and I can get the intensity back into my workouts. I know giving my leg time to heal is best, but 4 months of eating in the 1900-2000 calorie range and dropping back down to 1400 is going to be tough! We'll see what kind of mish mash of workouts I can do tonight!

LOL BECCALYNN75 - what a creative way to get in some extra exercise. I hope you get to do something less stressful today.

BRIAN36 - I have no doubt that you'll be creative too in getting in some workout even if it isn't what you had planned. You do so great at it!

Wed: 48 mins Wii Fit (mostly boxing & steps), 30 mins My Fitness Coach cardio. MFC was great and something new for me. A few other small things through out the day like short dog walk & a little pool sweeping.

I had some unusual cardio last night - searching for a set of keys! We got a new (to us) motorhome Monday night and I had misplaced my set of keys. We finally found them after a lot of frustration but I had walked and looked under and walked and looked behind and walked and . . . . Hopefully things will be back into our routine soon. I really miss those walks!

I did end up getting Jari Love in last nite, but I used the Slim and Lean instead of Ripped and Chiseled. Apparently it is MIA. I'd really like to run tonight, but I think I've got the starts of an IT band problem and I don't want to overwork it since DD and I have another 5k on Saturday. I'd go to kickboxing again tonight but DS has a track meet and I don't think I'll get back in time. I will just have to get creative.

Got a 10 mile bike ride in on Sunday with hubby, spent a couple hours geocaching with the kids and then went to a 1 hour kickboxing class last night. Tonight is supposed to be Jari Love Ripped and Chiseled but a friend is coming over so I can see her wedding pictures. Hope to get that hour in afterward, we'll see.

Sheena - congrats on all that cardio!

I had some major cleaning cardio (2 1/2 hours inside and about an hour outside) Saturday and took a day off Sunday. Monday I just didn't find time. I'll let you know how tonight goes.

Sun & Mon: Both were cardio days - lots of walking Sun & an hour of Wii Fit & indoor steps on Mon; but I didn't get in the bikini workout like I planned. Definitely tomorrow.

Hi All - Sorry to be late in posting this. I had meant to ask you if you wanted to continue the bikini workout a bit longer or if you preferred a different challenge for this week. But..... since I've let the first day of the week already pass us by without posting something new, I decided to proceed with the bikini workout.

So keep going with the good workouts that we started last week. For anyone just joining the challenge, you can find the details in the thread for April 19-25. Here's a link to make it easy to find:
