Hi LAURAKOHORST! Yes, there is a challenge posted for this week. It should be the first thread in this Eating Healthy and Exercising Forum. It is titled April 19-25: Bikini Workout Challenge. I guess I might have confused things by changing the way it was titled....sorry about that.

It's a lot more "challenging" than the one we had for last week. At least for me it is. :-) I'm a bit worried about it being too much for some folks; but am hoping that people will try it out and make whatever modifications they might need to in order to fit with their personal fitness abilities and goals. Please let me know what you think.

Still unable to use weights with exercises so I just did seated back fly's with only my arms. Not as challenging but still exercises. lol... Still need to go for my walk.

Back Extensions, Lying Double Leg Raise, Standing Advanced Forward Bend, Childs Pose and chest flyes all done this evening. I enjoyed all of these as pretty nice post-race stretches, with the exception of the flyes. I only did 10 with 8 lb. weights and that was plenty!

I actually dvr's some hatha yoga off of PBS yesterday and along with child's pose did a bunch of other stretched. YOGA ROCKS!!

Today I did Dumbell Chest Flys on a Ball. I'm a copycat!!! emoticon

Saturday's SP exercise of the day is the Standing Chest Flys on Cable Cross Machine. If you do not have access to this machine (I don't), that doesn't get you off the hook. Simply choose from one of the other Fly options that are in SP's exercise demos. Here's a link to the upper body exercise page where you can find them listed & demo'd.

Just finished today's exercise -- yoga Child's Pose. Pretty easy stuff, huh? I used that as starting point for a bunch more yoga on Wii Fit and then continued on for some aerobics.

I did one set of the Lying Double Leg Raises last night during commercials. Yesterday afternoon a co-worker and I also walked a 20 min mile. I'll try those Forward Bends when I get home tonight, and maybe we can get in another walk this afternoon.

I did Wed's Lying Double Leg Raises just after midnight (Thurs morning) so went ahead and did Thur's Standing Advanced Forward Bend. The instructions for that one said to make sure we'd 'mastered' Standing Modified Forward Bend first, so I did that one too.

Head cold has me under the weather so I'm going slow. did the back extentions and a few leg raises. I felt like I was going in slow motion. lol..... (must be the antihistamines)

Did the Back Extensions and then went on for another 35 mins of core and lower body strength exercises. Feelin pretty good about that.

How about we celebrate the rest of our anniversary week by doing the SparkPeople Exercise of the Day each day? If it requires equipment that you do not have, pick a substitute from the SP demos and let us know what you did.

I'll try to dream up something more imaginative for next week.
