Great Idea. My wife and I did this several weeks ago. We purged whatever was not according to how we decided to eat. In addition, over the last several weeks we have bought a personal blender, george foreman grill, a rice cooker and individual plastic containers. we cook ahead, making many of our meals so we can just grab and go!

Purging the kitchen is tough; but good for you. Your son will get used to veges. I love celery or apple with peanut butter. Grilled is also a great idea.

Good for you for cleaning out the kitchen!!! It is always hard to do but it is also the best thing, it's hard to fight off temptation when it's staring you right in the face! As for the veggies, they are always great on the grill! Marinate with a little olive oil sprinkle on a little seasoning and you'll be good to go! emoticon

Ok what is the unwanted you ask......unhealthy foods in my cabinet. I've made the decision to purge my home tonight of junk food (helps that tomorrow morning is garbage day). I'm scared because to me I am throwing away money but on other hand I know If i keep it there I will end up eating it. I think it's time to make a kitchen overhaul. Trying to stay positive. Plus I really don't want my kids eating these easy convenient foods anymore (son is not happy that he is having to eat veggies). I'm still searching for easy recipes to make that make those dreaded veggies more appealing.
