Well, I am going to finish out the month of April with meeting my water drinking goal 18 times during the month, which is a better percentage than I have had in the past. And I got up early and did at least 10 minutes of exercise right away 25 days this month, which I am happy with.

So I did decide that I am going to retry to do 4 glasses of water a day in April again as a goal as well as try to add the Rise and Shine goal of get up and do one form of exercise for ten minutes first thing in the morning (like a couple Wii dances or a couple sets of strength training weights since I have a home gym set) at least four times a week. I am inspired by my weight loss success over the last 2 months and want to stay on track. I figure the closer my weight gets to my target weight the harder I have to work to get those last pounds off, not that I am that close yet. But I want to try to keep building in these good habits a little at a time.

So are you training for any new races at this time? Or just between races?

What got you into considering being a triathlete? Which part of it is your favorite? I like swimming but I would struggle with the running and biking. Just not my thing. I have had two back surgeries and running is too jarring for me on the lower back. But I admire your accomplishments. You should be proud of yourself.

I did track today. I wasn't in my range and I kind of figured I wasn't. I almost didn't track but I thought, staying in range isn't really the point right now. If I can get back to tracking regularly, I will have fewer and fewer days out of range. I know tracking works for me, I have just been in a lazy funk. I know in order to get off the #10 that I put back on after all of my fall races and the holidays, I have to buckle down.

Congrats to you for getting the hang of things. It isn't even April yet and you are killin' it. Very proud of you!

WooHoo for having your best streak to date! That is huge.

I tracked my food yesterday. Two days back to back is big for me and where I am out right now.Taking today off. That was a conscience decision earlier in the week as I knew today would be a cheat day for me (dinner out with friends). Even when I was tracking religiously, I usually allowed a cheat day once a week and that meant a break from tracking too.

Plan back to tracking from tomorrow through Saturday. Will take Easter Sunday off. Fingers crossed that taking this one day off so early in my efforts to start tracking again will not sabotage me.

I like this concept that you have going here. I will try to join in too. I am really really bad about drinking water and I know rightt now I would never succeed at the 8 glasses of water a day, so I am going to try to take a baby step here and aim for April to drink 3 glasses of water a day. I will start today and see if I can get through April with this goal.I have been tracking trying to drink four glasses of water per day for the last two months and only succeeded 23% of the time, so let me back up and try 3 glasses and get this habit into place. We will see how it goes.

Ugh... I've done terrible. I've been lucky to get in one short walk a week for the last three weeks. Part of it is the weather, but really most of it is I just don't have time. Other things keep interfering, and they aren't things that I have any control or choice over. I did walk tonight though.

That is an awesome goal.

I definitely did better on my goals when I was tracking them here.. For example when I was tracking my vitamins, I only missed 1 day in two months. Now I am lucky if I get them in 4-5 times a week. Might make that another goal.

I feel like I'm loosing my motivation. I had a weekend alone this weekend and did some thinking. Lots of "how do I see myself vs how I am". One theme I noticed was that I see myself doing a lot of outdoor things, biking, running, hiking. But in reality I spend very little time outside. Most of time outside is spent walking from my house to my car or from my office to my car.

So as of Sunday I decided to set a goal to spend at least 30 minutes outside everyday. I'm hoping a lot will be exercise, going to the park and stuff but I told myself that it doesn't have to be. I just want to enjoy being outside.

I figured this would be a good place to keep track since it is a daily goal for me.

Well I did great on one of my April goals. Even though I did not finish posting for the month, I did take my multivitamin everyday!!! WhooHoo! Second times a charm I guess. I didn't do so hot on the 8 hours in bed each day but recording it did make me more aware and I tried a little harder to get to bed at a descent time.

Haven't really thought of any goals yet for this month so I will probably take the month off and try to come up with a plan for June.
