I have had good luck doing my low carb diet. Once I got beyond the first week or so, the carvings for sweets went away and the low-fat protein satisfies me.

I am wondering if anyone has any success stories or horror stories they would like to share about their low carb experience. First let me say that I started this weight loss journey with the foundation of no-fad-dieting!
But as I did research of my problem area, I realized I needed to kick start the weight loss in my midsection. My pastor is a health nut who agreed that doing low carb for a least 2-3 months would be beneficial.
I started last Friday and it is going well. I would like to know about other peoples experiences to see whether this diet is worth the effort or if I am just spinning my wheels.
