Thanks V - That's what I've been doing so far. I was just wondering because I'm burning more calories than my goals (which is fab!) but my calorie range for nutrition is based on my goals. No worries, though. I'm doing great with how it is. Let me know if that suggestion goes anywhere.

You CAN do it!

Current short term goal: Into ONE-derland by the end of August! YES! *** ACHIEVED! Aug. 11, 2008 ***

New Goal: 190 lbs by September 30. Update on this goal, Sept. 2/08 - Current weight: 195.6 lbs. Only 5.6 lbs to go to my September goal!
*** Didn't make it to 190, but got done to 193.7! YES!

New Goal: 188 lbs by October 31, that's 5.7 lbs to lose in 1 month.

A. If you are talking about the CHANGE FITNESS GOALS option, you can only enter one amt of minutes for SP to plan for you --I have mine set for 30min per day 5 days per week, but of course my schedule doesn't work out that way (I work 12hr rotating shifts) so I just ignore that and enter whatever cardio I do, which is more than 30min usually. -- I will make this suggestion to SP to be able to do that. You can also enter your cardio in for the week early if that helps.

At first, I didn't think this option was going to be useful because I have a trainer who sets up weight programs for me every other week. But once I figured out how to enter in those exercises, I've been using this option more and more.

Velle, another question: any idea if you can enter a different amount of cardio on different days? For my routine, I have 2 cardio-heavy days (40 minutes, no weights) and 2 weight days (30 minutes of weights, +15-20 mintues cardio). I can't get my tracker to let me have different amounts on different days. Advice?

Today's Challenge: My Fitness

Today's challenge is to get to know --- and use --- your fitness tracker.

Here's how to get there. Look for the orange toolbar at the top of the page. Mouse over the words MY TOOLS and click MY FITNESS from the drop-down list.

Hey look! The QuickTrack option is here, too. Click around and explore. Don't forget the little click buttons like "How do I use this page" and "change fitness goals" at the top of the page. Near the Quick Track feature are red underlined words (aka hyperlinks) "What's this" and "view progress" --- check those out.

Need to learn more about strength training? Look just above the date on the fitness page for these words...
Get the most from your strength training program. Click here to learn more

Did you know you can let SparkPeople generate your strength workouts .. or track them yourselves? Explore the strength training area. Explore the cardio area too!

Look near the bottom of the page. See where you can add notes. You can also print exercise demos, print your weekly plan, or print the cardio you have tracked.

What will you do for exercise today? Stuck? There are quite a few new videos on the FITNESS page. Try something new! I challenge you to 10 minutes of exercise. Just 10 minutes! More is great! Get an activity point today!
