Hi MJ,
I had to stop pop all together. You see I LOVE orange mountain dew and if I have just one I want more. I have slipped and had a drink of hubby's and it's amazing how now it tastes to sweet.
Post here often.

No. I don't think I need to be bugged. I am pretty motivated to keep on track. Just need encouragement from time to time. I love when people post things on my sparkpage to help me keep going. Thanks for the reply.

We do not drink coke only water which is much better for you but you sound like you are doing better. You are drinking less and this is good. We had another lady ask us to bug her and we have been doing that. Would you like us to bug you to to help keep you on track? Patricia emoticon

Hey everyone. I joined a couple weeks ago and one of my main concerns was to cut back on my soda intake.

I used to drink diet coke or regular coke 7 days a week. One the weekends I would wake up and grab a soda and I wouldn't stop until I went to bed. I was probably drinking about 3 two liters a week.

Once I found sparkpeople, I decided to scale down on my soda intake. (I joined April 8th)

Here is my progress report so far...

Week 1: I cut back to 1 day of soda drinking. (about 2 glasses when I went out to eat) Unbelievable even to me. :)

Week 2: I had 4 cans of soda (1 per day)My goal was two.

Week 3: Only had one can yesterday and made it a caffine free cola from Wholefoods. I plan on letting myself only have one more by Sunday if I have a craving.

Fellow sparkpeeps... Let me know how you are doing with your addiction. Or check out my spark page for more progress reports. Would love to hear from you.
