Ok, I've now got all ten of my reasons.

1. I want to feel healthy!!!
2. I want to be healthy.
3. I want to set a good example for my kids.
4. I want to fit into smaller clothes.
5. I want to eat healthier.
6. I want to like my body again.
7. I want to prove it to myself.
8. I want to have a toned body.
9. I want to pick out clothes without worrying about it!!!
10. My class reunion is coming up.

My reasons :

1 - To run a marathon someday (or before I'm 40!)
2 - To drop my cholesterol and my triglycerides
3 - combat depression. I fight depression all yr round, but it hits me really bad during the winter.
4 - Darn it, I want to wear really cute dresses!
5 - Feel and look strong
6 - Wear a bikini
7 - Feel a sense of control over my eating and body
8 - live to see my grandchildren -
9 - Keep up with my 5 yr old daughter
10 - Feel gorgeous inside and out!

Way to go friends!

1) I want... to be the boss! I will not be a slave to bad habits or reflex!
2) I want... to run!
3) I want... to fit my skinny jeans! And maybe turn them into my fat jeans...
4) I want... to live a long long life - it's going to be a good one, I know it!
5) I want... to be my own inspiration!
6) I want... to be able to wear the clothes I love! (Being a slave to fashion is pretty hard when the fashions don't fit)
7) I want... to see what my husband sees.
8) I want... to love myself as much as I love other important people in my life.
9) I want... to say YES to a bikini!
10) I want... to show the world that I am DYNAMITE!

Current short term goal: Into ONE-derland by the end of August! YES! *** ACHIEVED! Aug. 11, 2008 ***

New Goal: 190 lbs by September 30. Update on this goal, Sept. 2/08 - Current weight: 195.6 lbs. Only 5.6 lbs to go to my September goal!
*** Didn't make it to 190, but got done to 193.7! YES!

New Goal: 188 lbs by October 31, that's 5.7 lbs to lose in 1 month.

top ten
10- to be sexy and attractive for my husband and have him be proud to have his "trophy" wife
9 - sex with the lights on!!!!
8 - live life, eat to live not live to eat
7- fight disease, stay healthy, extend my life
6 - show my kids how to live healthy and happy
5 - shop in the normal size stores/departments
4 - go out in a bathing suit with my fam, and friends and not be self-concious
3 - keep in touch with friends i've been to embarrassed to contact because of my weight
2 - ride a roller coaster again, fit in an airline/movie theater/any seat without spilling over into the person next to me
1 - be a beautiful and healthy,mother of the bride(someday) and not be scared to see pics of myself

My Top 10 Reasons

1) I deserve it
2) I hate being ashamed of my body in front of my husband...I should be as beautifull to myself as I am to him.
3)for my 2 handsome nephews and my beautifull niece and the one about to be born any minute - they deserve an aunt who has the energy to play with them and keep up and be a great role model for them
4)So that when i catch my reflection in a window or mirror I can grin and toss my hair instead of wanting to cry.
5)I love to shop and I'd really like to love shopping for myself again instead of everyone else
6)So i'm not the "ugly" sister...
7)*blush* so i can enjoy time with my husband in the afternoon and not wish I could turn out the lights
8) I adore the clothes in the victoria secret catalouge and would love to order them
9)So i don't look ridiculous in pictures next to my short skinny minny husband and all my in laws
10)#1 Reason is that I hope in the next few years to get pregnant and my baby deserves the best possible start before it's born.

Top 10 Reasons For a Healthier Me:

1. When I was 16 I wanted to be a model, I lacked the confidence that I have now. My husband said I can get a portfolio started whenever I am ready.
2. I am very blessed because I have everything that I ever wished for happening in my life right now, I want the energy to live and enjoy it all for many years to come.
3. In the past 2 years, I have given up a lot of my time and energy to help others, and I started to lose myself in the process. I need to fill myself back up so I can be there for everyone again.
4. I want to look sexy for my husband.
5. I am exhausted of food having control over me, (I have fought my demons, why am I still letting food overpower me?) NO MORE!
6. I want to be a good role model for my children.
7. I am through with being jealous of the gorgeous thin girls that I work with when I know I could be that way too.
8. I want shopping for clothes to be fun again instead of depressing.
9. I am finished with my pregnancies, I want my body back.
10. To be happy to see myself look like I did 10 years ago.

1. To be healthy
2. To look really good in a mini this summer.

6. To have the feeling, (when walking into a room) like everyone is looking at me to be for a different reason.

Today's challenge is to write a list of ten reasons why you want to lose weight and/or maintain your success.

I'd like to encourage you to write this top ten list. Type or write it up and put it on your bathroom mirror, over your desk, on the fridge --- all three! --- places you'll see it and think about it. Don't hurry. Put some thought into this. Your list will tell you whether your motivation is extrinsic (losing weight for an event, for other people) or intrinsic (from within yourself). It's a really powerful exercise that can help you learn a lot about yourself. You don't HAVE TO share your list with the team, of course, although I'd encourage you to do so. Maybe you'll post it here. Maybe you'll choose to put it on your sparkpage or your blog. Maybe all three. Maybe it's just for you. Take some time for yourself this weekend and write this list!

Here are my Ten Reasons:

1. To be healthy - I want to be able to LIVE a long and healthy life.

2. To have more energy -not be so tired all the time.

3. To be more confident in myself -to know that I can accomplish great things when I put my mind to it.

4. To be a good & healthy example for my family members - my parents, younger brothers, cousins and my future children.

5. To inspire and help others on their own journey of lifelong health & wellness.

6. To have control over my life and control my emotional eating habits - Eat to Live Not live to eat.

7. To improve my self-esteem/self-image -not be so self-conscious about how my clothes fit or how they don't fit for that matter.

8. To be more active indoors & outdoors -try skydiving, mountain climbing, scubadiving -all the things I'm too self-conscious to try out right now

9. To be able to walk into any store, buy what I want, and not have to shop in the "plus" section.

10. To be able to look good in a bikini :)To be able to go to the beach and not feel ashamed and feel like I have to cover myself up.
