walking does not aid in my weight loss, so hopefully it's helping in all the other areas listed in the article. emoticon

I started walking in some form (hiking, Gazelle, videos, local walks, etc) about June 15 of last year. I started with a goal of at least ten minutes *every* day and today my minimum is thirty minutes. Usually, it's more like an hour. My weight had plateaued at around 230 for the previous two years and in the ten months since, I've lost about forty pounds. Intermittent fasting and the walking are the only two changes I've made. From this I draw the conclusion that walking works for weight loss. It has a lot of other benefits as well, but weight loss is certainly a big benefit for me.
