Did you happen to see my community post about the FIVES?

I wrote something like this:

Aim small. Miss Small.
Take 5 lbs at a time.
Take 5 LESS bites.
Take 5 MORE sips of water or cups of water.
Take 5 more steps (or walk 5 more blocks)
Sit 5 LESS minutes.
Eat 5 LESS chips.
Eat 5 MORE bites or pieces of fruit.

Check for success in 5 weeks.

Now, I have to tell you, my scale just came down about 4 lbs. That's astounding because I've been GAINING lately.

Just 5 of any of this has to help, don'tcha think?

This week, I'm concentrating on drinking sufficient water again.

It wasn't a problem for me before but recently I have found myself drinking less.

Our daughter who lives and works in Puerto Rico is staying with us until her condo has water and electricity returned to somewhat normal living. We are starting a diet together which we've done successfully before and expect to do again.

Some of my problems are that I have a habit of nibbling while at the computer, or reading. I'm not hungry...just the habit of it...

Jackie I'm a Halloween baby but many years ago.
5'1.5" - I shrunk from 5'4"
Residents of Arizona (as of Sept. 2017)
Personal goal is to weigh in 159 by the end of May 2019. I did not make my previous goal so must do better...I ACHIEVED THE GOAL OF REACHING 151 IN MAY 2013. A LOSS OF 37 POUNDS! Summer of 2014 I gained 10 pounds of it back while traveling to the BVI's and Ireland so I have set a new goal for 2019 to be back to below 155.

Won't eat late unless it's fruit or veggies. I will commit that to this week. I'd be too overwhelmed to say 'forever'. So let's start easy.
