Carol, I just saw fabric with chocolates yesterday or the day before in an email. I'll see if I can find who had it.

yes, Bev, the border is part of a mystery quilt from Quilter's newsletter. I have the complete pattern so now I will do the rest of the blocks with pink white and chocolate. I need some pink and chocolates fabric. Know of any? I'm putting on the original idea of a border for stitch pink which is 2 1/2" pink squares all around. And will add additional 2" cream border with outer borders. Its a beast of a quilt. but with my program for guild on Thursday, I needed this is a border example and its making me finish it. Carol

I think I've made a decision concerning the additional border on Stitch PInk. I am going to rip it off and just add a border of 2 1/2" squares that I previously cut and call it done. I will reserve the border I am now doing and make a quilt to fit it. Going backwards from the border in. What we do in quilting doesn't always work out. I could continue but why wrestle with it when I have a different plan. Carol

I have a list of things I need to do prior to the guild meeting on Feb 18.
1. I need to start sewing the border I've selected for Stitch PInk. Feb program is on borders and stitch pink has the perfect colors. Also the border fabric has pink hearts all over it. emoticon
2. I need to start sewing the new Sallie Tomato bag for the LQS.
3. Finish binding Rose Hexagon emoticon
4. Sandwich Little Boy quilt.
5. find or buy some more machine oil. Those little tubes just get lost.
6. Prepare a trunk show for guild meeting.

Got my sketch book out and am working on Gnomes panel. Printed a small picture off the computer so I can try different things with it. The sketch book has what I did to each panel and thoughts on how to do them better.

After I finished quilting rose hexagon, I went through some binders and files holding printed patterns and most are now in the file cabinet in my office. I have so many portable binders to hold projects. Why dont I use them? And files too left from my business. Some of it went in the trash. More to do. Carol

Just finished my declutter and threw away so fabric bits and pieces that are way to small for me. Packaged a bag for a friend to use in her craft projects.

Went through patterns I got here and there oh fir free and kept the ones I thought I would use the rest go to the resale ship at my church.

Problem is to keep it this way.

It is really time to reorganize again. yesterday while quilting with the LIne tamer ruler, it disappeared. I didn't hear it fall to the floor so it must have fallen into some fabric or a pile somehwere. Need to now look for that. I have worn my sweatshirt lots. I need to post a pic.

I just listened to the last video. I wonder if I could even begin to be that organized.

Heck Carol, I wanted glue sticks late last year and realized I gave the glue gun and all (and I had a lot) of them to the thrift store. I won't rebuy. I bought some glue that worked. LOL!

I love Karen Brown. Yesterday I wanted to use the glue gun for the pincushions on the jar lid. Now I know I have at least 50 glue sticks but do you think I could find any? Had to order some from Amazon along with Walnut shell litter as I'm on a roll with the pincushions. I need to get back to quilting rose hexagon.

That's probably similar to what I found at Sam's Club, and they were in different colors. I don't have a Costco near me - I wish I did.

Those look perfect Nancy. Unfortunately no container store nearby or Ikea. Have to drive 6 to 8 hours for both. For my door prize at the retreat, I got one of those plastic project containers. Those are handy and I have a few. I should go and get a few more at Joann's. Carol

Bev, I have purchased plastic document cases online from The Container Store to hold my projects. They are similar to the ArtBin satchels (which The Container Store also carries), but are cheaper.

Slowly but surely. Last night I cleaned off the table where my machine I quilt with is so that I can work on the baby quilt later this week. Unfortunately, everything seems to land there and right now, that everything ended up on my sewing chair at my regular machine! UGH!
