Carol - Thanks for the reminder, I still need to send charms to Nancy too.

Also, I didn't finish cutting my smaller stash scraps into pieces. So I'm not finished my one a month.

Me either. Still need to send charms to Nancy. I pulled out my one a month to see if there was a chance I could finish it today. That is a NO. I will put it in my stack of things to take to my retreat on Jan 24. Carol

Well, I'm definitely not going to finish my one a month. I might have been a little ambitious. I am keeping up with Grassy Creek but I'm going to need to moderate my expectations on the scrap trimming.

I've started trimming leftover scraps from Grassy Creek and am putting aside scraps for citrus crumb blocks. I'm using the lighter yellows, oranges, and greens from Grassy Creek as crumbs and trimming up the rest of them. That way I can get a citrus charity quilt going over the rest of the project. And so I'll focus on trimming up my yellows, oranges, and light greens over the rest of the month and see where I can get. That'll be my first charity quilt for the new year. Maybe I'll call it Fresh Squeezed. LOL.

I printed the APQ UFO challenge form and I filled it in. I will use this as my one a month next year or might even do two things a month. I had to really dig deep to find 12 things and some are items I never thought I would finish or wanted to. However, if they are on the list and the number is pulled, I' commit to doing them. The list is useful even if you dont intend to participate. If I finish these twelve items, I will really put a dent in the process. Carol

I finished my November one a month. Anyone else?
And yes, Bev, I started filling out my APQ challenge form and got to 7 UFO's. I need to find 5 more. Honestly, most of my UFOs are finished tops that need to be quilted. However, if I put them on the list and actually sandwich them to quilt, bonus.
I might spend time today looking for what I haven't finished. Carol

You can download the 2021 UFO list and name 12 projects for next year. Then they call a number and you do that one for the month. I've actually done pretty well this year with one a month here on Spark. But I might go through and make a list. I tend to finish most projects although it might take me a while. Mostly I need to quilt finished tops and maybe I can go through and make that list and deal with them. I have some bins stacked up in the foyer and I need to look at them. Carol

Mine will be the Christmas 2020 quilt along by Helen Godden. She has a pattern which you trace onto muslin with different colored Sharpies(!). This year it is poinsettias. Then every day she shows you how to free motion quilt a different section (bract petals, leaves, flower pot, etc.). It's a way to practice FMQ as well as make something cute. She makes it look so easy!

My one a month is going to be to keep up with Grassy Creek, complete all the clues with the exception of any that show up 28-31 December since that's not going to be enough time to complete them by the end of the month.

My other December project is going to be to go through my stash and cut anything that is smaller than a fat quarter into Bonnie's scrap user sizes so I can build charity quilt kits in January.

This is one time we can't say this year has flown by. Seems like it crawled but there is an end in sight. This thread has really helped me to finish up a lot of things this year. We will continue again next year!
My one a month will be to finish the Saturday Sampler top. And quilt a few and continue Grassy Creek and more. But Saturday Sampler has to be done by January for a show and tell at the shop. Carol
