I didn't get my one-a-month done. I finished making the top, backing and binding. Now I need to quilt and bind it. So, I guess it will be my next months one.

emoticon Linda and Carol for the April pink squares! I haven't looked at my inbox at home for mail for a couple of weeks. I need to sit down and go through it all - been too busy sewing!

Ii'm done and realized the quilt I just finished is Frances, not Ella. But I will get Ella done eventually. She is on the back burner! So Frances was my ONe a month. And she is done. It is so satisfying to finish a quilt! Carol

That quilt is lovely Bev! Would you accept a box of handsew HST out of calicoes? A friend gave them to me and I'm not interested. Was going to send them to Jo but there are quite a few large blocks already assembled and I thought easy for you to put together for a charity quilt. Happy to send it along. CArol

Got it fixed except a still tiny tuck but it isn't noticable. The backing is very busy and I'm proceeding on nicely with the quilting. However, I did go off in a different direction without removing the ruler, broke a needle and chipped off a bit of ruler. Its the line tamer ruler and oh, my, what a difference it makes in the quilting process! I'm quilting the quilt with all those 4 1/2" squares and the lines on the ruler are helping to keep them straight. Carol

I have a college graduation quilt gift to get finished. ...The graduation was to be this coming weekend.

I have the quilt top completed & the back chosen. Must get to the work of quilting it together & binding & signing it.

This is for the youngest of 3 girls of a former college roommate & friend. Our kids were all born within 6 months of each other. ...and both of her sisters received quilts when they graduated (all from the same university!) ~ Time to get on the ball!
