Congratulations to everyone who finished out the month, good job sticking to it guys, and let's celebrate our successes, as well as learning from our weaknesses.

Actual weight Monday, October 11, 2010: 169.8 (Brutal week last week, under the weather, no exercise at all, lots of emotional/stress/comfort eating going on. Gotta get to the doctor, see what is what with my lungs. In the meantime, tracking food, drinking tons of water and eating lots of veggies, lean protein will get me feeling much better. Also, no more trail mix!)

Actual weight Monday, October 18, 2010: 171.6 ( I can't believe I have made it back into the 170's. I am still sick, Doctor Diagnosed Pneumonia... Puffers, and antibiotics and Advil oh my! No exercise since last Wednesday, eating like CRAP.... when is this going to end?)

Actual weight Monday, October 25, 2010: 171 (I am down .6 from last week, not sure how that happened, but I will take it! Starting to feel better, last week was a write off, spent most of it resting on the couch trying to recover from this pneumonia. Going to ease back into normal days this week, take it one day at a time.)

Actual weight Monday, November 1, 2010: 171 (maintained from last week. I was able to work my shifts all last week, also I had a very busy weekend, spent about two hours walking around last night for trick or treating. Still really dragging, need to take a lot of rests during the day just to make it through my bare bones commitments, but my eating is improving. I don't seem to be craving junk for comfort anymore, and the urge for quick and easy meals has passed to now that I am able to fix myself meals again. Time to move forward into a new month! Yay for November!)

My doc told me that as long as I don't have a fever, moderate exercises is good, so you should be okay.

I was doing so well this month!

I've tried to eat sensible over the past week and a half but having a cold and not being able to exercise can really make a difference!

But november will be different.

I know I shouldn't do cardio but does anyone know if its alright to do something like pilates or strength training at home with a cold?

No gain; no loss. A disappointment, but I'm thankful because I expected a gain. Four straight days of poor eating and no exercise. I'm back on track, today and I will make my goal next week!

I have changed my weekly weigh in day to Mondays, and reset my goals for myself long term. Check out my page for more details. I am going to still focus on the goal I set for this month, see if I can still reach it, but not feel too let down if I don't. As long as I see some progress!

Gotta get to the doctor, see what is what with my lungs. In the meantime, tracking food, drinking tons of water and eating lots of veggies, lean protein will get me feeling much better. Also, no more trail mix!)
