Last day of the month.
Congratulations to everyone who covered any number of miles this month. Keeping moving is the most important thing. I'm thinking we'll have an international destination in May and think about continuing down the east coast maybe in the fall, or sooner if folks want. So take a look later tonight to see where we are going. It's a mystery..... I did the elliptical yesterday and I just got back from a jog/run. I plan to really cut back my walking this month. After 4 months of doing just walking for exercise (training for a marathon), I'm ready for some different exercises. I'm sure I'll still be walking to work and some extra walking/hiking so 88 miles sounds about right. 4/1 - 1 4/2 - 5 4/3 - 5.25 4/4 - 3.25 4/5 - 1.7 4/6 - 0 (other types of exercise today) 4/7 - 5.3 (hiking) ==================================== Total wk 1 = 21.5 4/8 - 5 4/9 - 4.4 4/10 - 3.7 4/11 - 5 4/12 - 1.7 4/13 - 6.3 ======================= Total so far = 41.3 I got really sick last week and didn't get any walking in. We had a pretty big thunderstorm last night and thankfully a lot of pollen has been washed out of the air. I went for a walk this morning with a friend and again just now by myself. It's a lovely day. When I got home, I picked up some stray pine branches (small) which had been blown from the trees during the storm last night. Just lifting one and putting in the yard waste bin gave me a wave of yellow-green pollen. Yuck! Hope it's nearly done or we will need another big rain.

I plan to really cut back my walking this month. After 4 months of doing just walking for exercise (training for a marathon), I'm ready for some different exercises.
