Here were my goals back in January:

1. Be more careful with freggies. Something about the way the START page was redesigned made it harder for me, so I have a magnetized pad on my fridge where I record my freggies and my water every day, and then I will transfer it to the START page. Water has not been an issue, but I was just curious as to just how much I was drinking.


2. I have begun some yoga and general stretching in the past couple of months that I plan to continue throughout 2014. Of course, I walk, and walk, and walk as well. I will walk a 5K in Pensacola when we go to visit my DS over my spring break, if that is the weekend that it is held.


3. A few of us have discussed meeting in late February. That will be fun!


4. I am making a concentrated effort to "find joy" in 2014. I am learning to "let go" and that includes not borrowing trouble, allowing others' behavior to affect my generally positive outlook, etc.

Adjusted goals for the remainder of the year -

Freggies - I suspect I am doing better than it seems, but I did not continue keeping the freggie list on my fridge after we got back from FL way back in March. I may see if I can add a new goal on my Start page that involves freggies. The water goal there is easily accessible from my smartphone, so perhaps that will do the trick.

Walking - I did the Pensacola 5K, I did the Heart Walk in Springfield in April, and I will be doing a Light Up the Night 5K next Saturday evening which benefits the Wounded Warrior Project in SW Missouri in Sparta. Yoga and stretching went my the wayside back in late May, but I have added it back in as of the past week and am glad that I did.

Some of our team met in May, and that was great! We have another possible meeting planned for October. Woohoo!

Finding joy - I have been better this year than last...
