5 minutes of cardio jumping jacks, 5 minutes of stepping on stair, 5 minutes of lifting 2 lb. weights, 15 minutes each of walking to warm-up and to cool-down, 40 wall push-ups, 20 minutes calisthenics

North American exercise & 3 square meals team leader.

I believe that I am less likely to procrastinate if I change my "wish" to "will", my "like to" to "try to", and my "have to" to "want to".

I absolutely emoticon our family Y! It's my second home. emoticon I have friends there I don't even know their last name, but I see them almost every day. I love the classes because they make me be there at a set time and then have somebody else tell me what to do.

However....today I didn't feel I had the time to spare to go to my usual morning yoga and then swim laps so I got my cooking and housework done, then just now got done with a home spin ride. I don't mind working out at home every now and then. emoticon

Grocery shopping can be a social event when it is crowded and I see people who I haven't seen lately. I have counted my steps during a shopping trip and know approximately how many I can count toward exercise. I notice if I walk briskly when the shop is not crowded, or walk slowly if it is crowded. How do you like your Y? Ours here is a popular place.

My exercise yesterday was 60 minute walk at brisk pace, then lifting 2 pound weights for 6 sets of 4 reps, then focusing on my waistline for 20 minutes.

Today I'm starting to add moderate intensity interval training to the above daily workout.

Daryl and I did our warm up for 7 minutes of walking, easy pace
Next, 1 min. side squat
3 min. brisk pace walk
1 min easy pace walk

Walking lunges for 2 min.
3 minutes fast pace walk
1 min. easy pace walk

Shuffle side step 2 min.
fast pace walk 3 min.
easy pace 1 min.

Stretch 2 min.
brisk pace 3 min.
easy pace 6 min. cool down

half hour of cardio jumping jacks, stepping on stair, lifting 2 lb. weights, walking to warm-up and to cool-down, 40 wall push-ups, 20 minutes calisthenics

We rested yesterday after our church service. This morning Mr. Santa and I added time to our walking. My arms and legs felt like they didn't want to go on a walk, but once I started I felt glad I had agreed to go.

Be hopeful. Feel optimistic about succeeding.

Today I walked as briskly as I could up and down a hillside. I lifted 2 lb. weights for 5 sets of 5 reps and did 40 wall push-ups.

North American exercise & 3 square meals team leader.

Mr. Santa and I walked for 15 minutes and then another 5 minutes.
25 jumping jacks but only arms up and down, not jumping
5 wall sits
5 wall push-ups
5 ab-crunch
5 squat
5 mini-lunge

My husband did his exercise, but I only helped with yard work. That was a workout in a way, but not my entire thing.

Both Mr. Santa and I did low speed exercise that used each muscle group. After ten days we should be able to move up to medium speed of the same exercises. At this point we can not go too fast but are determined to improve.

Does anyone want to do this Challenge with me? Four times per week I'm doing these until the Winter Equinox on December 21, 2018. But, I'm not getting up and down off of a chair.
