I'm probably going to start Ri30 in two weeks, after I finish my one billionth round of 30DS Level 3. I hear Ri30 is on Amazon Prime, so hopefully that works!

I actually almost gave up on Jillian after trying 30DS--I hated it. But then I had an opportunity to try BFBM and I was hooked. Decided to go ahead and give Ri30 a try, and am glad I did. I'm not sure what the difference is, but I really enjoy this workout whereas 30DS didn't do it for me at all.

Anyway, just did W1D1 of Ri30. Glad I waited til I was back in some sort of shape before I did it. It killed me my very first time (a couple of years ago). Got through it in pretty strong fashion today. Ready for D2 tomorrow!

I just finished week 1 day 3 of Ri30. I would agree that so far I am enjoying the Ri30 workout more than her 30 day shred. Next I think I want to try the 90 day Body Revolution!

Is anyone doing Ri30 at the moment? I just finished level two - day 3. I am really enjoying this DVD, even more so than 30 Day Shred.

Today I moved onto Week 2 exercises and I was surprised to find the workout easier than expected. In saying that, I might be hurting tomorrow. But I finished week 1 doing all the advanced moves including Hollow Man (when I first started, I tried the easy version, but I found the advanced version easier for me = only small amount of pain).
But finished Week 2 of Ripped in 30, then did level 1 of 30 day shred. Hope I don't feel all the pain tomorrow, looking forward to it. I might even get my sister in law to join me once I've finished with Jillian and moved onto my less intense workouts. I think she does want to join, she bought herself a fitness ball yesterday.

I did my second day of Ripped in 30 today. I did my 1st day 2 days ago but I was hurting yesterday in my hamstrings, so kept it light with Yoga Meltdown L1&2 yesterday to help stretch the muscles. Previous to this I was doing 30 Day Shred and I had stopped feeling the burn, so this stepped it up a bit and can't wait for level 2 to really start feeling it again.

Only thing I hate so far is hollow man. I can't even do it for a few seconds, my sciatic nerve twinges and I collapse back to the ground. If I try to push it, I pay for it with lots of lower back pain later (lasting up to a week).

Double session! Wow! I will sometimes do two different levels together if I chose to skip a day, but not of the same one!

I finished my everyday week for level 3 yesterday. Next week I start level 4. From how you have described it so far, I am scared yet excited to see how it goes. Granted, I do ease into it with giving myself 2 weeks and the first week is every other day.

What do you plan to do after the ripped in 30?

Way to go JillianFan!

Today I completed the first day of level 3. Wow! My legs burned. I had done my run before that so they were jelly by the time I got through.

Tonight my cousins chose to do the killer buns and thighs so my legs got a hard core work out in today.

That is awesome! I know most people say that you should do each level every day for one week. But it seems to help if I do it two weeks where the first week is only 3x and then I do the full 5x the second week. That way I can concentrate on getting the right form and allowing my muscles to build. Plus I do other exercises during the day so I need that break in between weeks.

Last night I did level 1 with my cousins, they started it later than me, and I was amazed at how much more easy those exercises are.

I FINALLY started this workout. I wanted to start this at the beginning of May, however, the people I workout with felt they wanted to do 30 day shred level 3 for at least 2 more weeks.

Since we didn't workout today I chose to go ahead and start RI30. I was stoked once I heard the music!

My plan is to do each level for 2 weeks. The first week for each level I will do it at least 2 days. Then the second week my goal will be to do it everyday, except my rest day. I am hoping this will help with getting to doing everything unmodified.

I just started this Monday. I did the workout 6 days. I plan on doing Week 1 next week also. I'm so out of shape that I still wasn't able to do Week 1 at 100% so the plan is to do each workout for two weeks (6 days each week) until I complete the video then I will either start over or see if I can make it through Insanity. I am very pleased though because I've lost 5 lb this week......Jillian really does work your butt off. Love her!

Finished ripped in 30! Week 4 was my favorite. I actually found Week 3 to be the most challenging, especially since she focused on the triceps which for me are quite weak.

Her attitude in Week 2 and interactions with Shelley were uncomfortable though. Was anyone else put off by this? I am thrilled with my results, so I will put up with it! Can't wait to do another round. Think I am going to need to buy 10 lbs dumbbells now.

I just did this today after I did Shred, Level 3

Notice how the cover is "ripped" - So Cool

I am really liking this dvd! You'll need two sets of dumbbells (I have a 3lb and 5) “Ripped in 30” offers four different workouts – one for each week. Jillian recommends this 24-minute workout 5-6 days a week - hand weights and energy are all you need. The workouts are built from Jillian's body-shredding 3-2-1 circuits: 3 minutes of strength, 2 minutes of cardio and 1 minute abs, but Jillian also combines strength, cardio, and ab exercises into the same move. One exerciser shows easier options.

Reminder: I'm 48. The exercises are tough but easy to follow, especially if you're used to exercising to DVDs, there are challenging variations from classics like basic crunches, but full sit-ups; not just jumps, but high-off-the-floor jumps, but the moves are tough. The warm-up is dynamic, the cool down with stretching is calming.

I like the way Jillian will slow down and show you how your body should look during an exercise, she'll turn sideways to show you your form, she'll touch a muscle and let you know you should feel it there.

Jillian is fired up, and in 4 thirty-minute workouts that go from sort of hard to "Wow! Why do my muscles hate me?!". One of the things I love about Jillians DVDs is it's the closest experience I'll get to training with Jillian (as my personal trainer) without being there. I've been following several of her DVDs every day of the week so I won't be doing this every day as I like to alternate. Her 30 Day Shred, I do every morning, I also follow a weight program 3 days a week, at home and I walk when the weather allows or use an indoor walking dvd. You can follow a restrictive diet plan she offers for download online - I eat healthy and am happy with my diet so I haven't looked at it. It's amazing what kind of torture your body can endure with just dumbbells, a mat and your body. I love that it feels like you can't go on but it's only 20 minutes. I love the high intensity, for a short amount of time.

The squat swings feel good - stretching good, (she reminds you not to use your shoulders - just swing - feel it in your entire core. I listened to her on this part and refocused the swing - it felt great!) the Good Mornings feel good - stretching good. I am getting stronger on the side Plank Lifts ( I was doing low impact - now doing the higher impact, thanks to her 30 Day Shred), the lunges with bicep curls, I've done these in some of her other dvds but she reminds you (and shows you) to focus on the legs, the bend of your leg/knee, I noticed I went down further on this than other times because of her coaching technique in this dvd. The ending: Abs - Crunches and reverse crunches actually felt good - in a stretching sort of way - it felt good that I was finally on the floor.

This dvd is offered in spanish or english

Just a reminder, even if you can't do these exercises exactly like Jillian and the other exercisers are doing them: As Jillian says, "Perfect Sucks." emoticon

Did level one today, but it was tough because I did Bob Harper's Cardio something yesterday and Jillian in the evening with my son. Bob's is a 60 minute workout with weights, lots of lunges with weights, 1000 squats with weights. I watched a documentary a while back about this famous woman marathoner and her key to success was learning to train through fatigue. That is a goal for me! Hope y'all are enjoying success! Last day of Week 3. I could half do it yesterday, so that is progress. Need some team members to track with me. Any one out there interested? I've been on here for years and am still hopeful that I can get and give support.
